It has never happened before but its very possible for a goal keeper to be caught offside. Goalkeepers hardly get to the half-field during play except when set pieces like free kicks or corner kicks are being taken. According to the rule of the game, a goalkeeper is the eleventh player of any team with and advantage of using his hands within his 18yard box. |
