Hi, Senior nairalanders,  I'm a Nigerian who grew up outside the country and has decided to come back for the NYSC, I'd like to know what the state of the country is now and what I should prepare for. With the recent news of Boko Haram and bombings   , I just want to have the right expectations so as not to be disappointed. I'd really appreciate it if you could drop some advice in this thread regarding the situation in the country in general, Abuja and Lagos specifically and the NYSC program. All views are welcome and appreciated. |

Well, considering the security situation and the boko haram menace, i would advise that you consider lagos. The south seems to be moderately peaceful now compared to the north and abuja in particular. @ poster,usually intrl graduates serve in abuja bt if u start d process early enuff u might b ask 2 choose abuja or lagos.but if u intend to serve wt the next batch,i think u shld have started d process by nw.good-luck |
