Hi guys ,please I just started hearing this rattling sound in the engine bay of my Avalon 2gr engine,I earlier changed the blown gasket sometimes last year July , the sound is coming from the front top.

Does it rattle when engine is idling or on pack position?
Or it does when you engage the drive position?

Rattles both while idle and accelerating

Probably camshaft requires change

I recently had a similar problem with my car ,the mech ran a check and discovered it was the engine sitting.

This is coming from inside the engine and not the body

Sell the engine and buy another one now. Don't attempt to repair it pls

I changed the top of the side making the noise and since then na movement I Dey, gone to Abuja twice from the east
