Owerri-Onitsha-Asaba Terrible Road.

Brothers & sisters, for time being, let’s distance our serves from travelling night on owerri- onitsha -asaba road ..the experience is titled and tagged terrible, God of mercy, okwukwe nke ndi kwere ekwe ,government make peace with your people, fulfil at will, fortifies when needful. only us can our kingdom come. The gods are not the ones to blame, how stupid will be a person that will blame ignorance…even your government said repeatedly that ignorance is not an excuses to law.

Okija/ orlu, orsu junctions was hell.. vehicles parked, some reversed back at the gun shots continues, security officers changed their blocking points and moved like 10poles from where unknown gunmen were operating. our driver's steering is stiff, can't turn 360 degree...stopped in the middle of the road,as we all jumped down, watch him as struggles to wheel outside the road, towards a corner ,lenticular house, where we all left our bags, run inside bush for safety. after all is over, we proceed to ihiala. Driver forgets that he has a laptop well-bills to deliver at ihiala, we were already at fuel station ihiala when he started calling the receiever, but then the receiver of the wellbilled is not picking, after random calls, ,she picked and happened to be far distance from us,passengers pressure made the driver to proceed.

just mins drive from ihiala, approaching awka,Ekwulobia 2 special forces ctu, police check points stopped us, driver claimed to have spent much, refused to give #100. we were parked,on the process of searching us and the sienna which we are onboard, the inspector saw the wellbilled laptop where the driver hidded it under his leg. The inspector brought the laptop, insisted he must provide the receipt. after series of begging, our driver pleaded with #500 but they refused. everyone was angry at the driver, just 100 would have pass us,save our time and the amount you are using to beg. Driver replied to us, he have tried his best,it is one of his worst trips ever, anyone who cannot wait should proceed,he was talking so arrogantly, some ladies left amd board another bus to onitsha. I approached the driver,to assist him with #500, he said no, that the police officers involved said #1,500 ,they will not collect, i forced him to approach first, he returned to be seeking for #500, i jokely told him that i have changed my mind, not ready to offer again. so i gave him, he added and gave them....getting to onitsha, at five star restaurant where am supposed to stop,he said No, agberors/tauts will hold him,the vehicle was on motion, everyone was jumping out when gets to your junction, what a journey.
