Siena:

1) Toyota Land Cruiser Amazon.
2) Nissan Pathfinder.
3) Nissan Xterra.

I'm Not surprised the Xterra is highly rated; but beating the very popular Toyota Highlander made me pause. What 3 things will make you choose the Xterra over Highlander?

Just to update you guys.  I decided to chance it and go for 2004 Mistibushi Endeavor LS

On friday/Saturday just past, my guy in Orlando Florida bought me this attached suv for just roughly 6k dollars Inc taxes and already dropped off at sea port being prepared to be shipped probably tomorrow Monday 26/09.

Mother is already excited as the other suv was causing her too much mechanical issues.

Have u thought of where to get good mechanics for the Mitsubuishi Endeavor and spare parts? All these i know are not readibly available in Nigeria.

What do you mean by a good mechanic and spare parts?

A god mechanic can service any car, and all cars share parts

I think you believe parts are made by/for a manufacturer, but they are made mainly to a specification.

So you may have a transmission made by Aisin used in a ford ,Mazda, Toyota. All these will use same fluid and filter.

Parts are not readily available for all cars in Naija. If you think those parts you buy at owode are real if they have toyota/honda marked on them, you may be wrong, with good service takes a long time to change parts

A research done a while back confirms that the parts are readily available we have some specialist mechanics in Nigeria - Although it will cost slightly more - Worst case scenario - if the parts are not available ( i will get it from abroad). I am praying that the CAR should last at least 4 years - before we get another one.

Depending on "title type", milage (I assumed 96kmi), both NADA and KBB thinks you stole the car for $6k. That's a deal.

Here's one on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-Mitsubishi-Endeavor-4DR-LS-/160554390948?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2561c995a4#ht_4373wt_1167 for $8k

The above Car you listed is in Canada - Maybe the difference is the location

Check out this one it is going for $6500  -

Not Ontario, Canada but Ontario California, USA. I'm 10 miles away in Pasadena, California.

The Orlando one is "Miles: 134000" so the price difference is acceptable.

I just noticed that these rigs are FWD? Man, they must have some seriously thick drive shafts to move that heft.

Cool - One can definitely get lost looking for Ontario Californa and not ending up in Canada

The one i purchased has a similar mileage of 134k - and it is a 3.8 Engine - I suspect the Engine is more than capable of moving the HEFT.
