STATEMENT ON THE FIRE INCIDENT AT OUR STORAGE FACILITY IN VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS

We hereby report that there was a fire incident this morning at our storage facility in Victoria Island, which is completely isolated from our Head Office Complex, and this led to a temporary power outage.

We appreciate the swift response of the Federal Fire Service, Lagos State Fire Service, and Eko Hotels Fire Service that led to the swift containment of the incident.
Banking services are being restored as normalcy returns.

The inconveniences to our esteemed customers and other stakeholders arising from this incident are highly regretted.

Zenith bank that ordinarily have the poorest service before now add fire excuse to it. All the customers has been stranded since yesterday till now. I AM EXPECTING THE BANK TO CHARGE THE CUSTOMERS FOR THE REPAIR OF THE HEAD OFFICE AFTER THINGS SETTLE DOWN. THEY CAN CHARGE YOU FOR PASSING IN FROM OF ANY OF THEIR BRANCH.

Not associated, he owns the ban together with Jim Ovia. He was the DMD for about two decades and later the MD. He established the bank with Jim Ovia

Why dont they say "Data Storage Facility" rather than just saying "storage facility". If its just a storage facility, why are banking services not working and just undergoing gradual restoration.
