In a statement made available on Saturday, the lender said the incident has been brought under control and normalcy has been restored in the area after four of the suspects were arrested and one of them gunned down.

The statement further explained that no customer and staff were hurt.

Read the full statement below:

We wish to inform everyone that the attempted robbery incident that happened at one of our branches in Abuja has been foiled; customers and staff are unhurt; and the suspects have been apprehended.

now see where greed lead these ones to, be contented with what you have, u can't get that luxurious life through crimes. These ones will be drilled for their stupidity and lack of being satisfied with the little they had.

This would be the first time in over a decade I would say something good about our security apparatus.

I salute their quick response to the scene and eventual arrest of the criminals.
MAY GOD BLESS ALL THOSE INVOLVED IN THAT OPERATION.

Must the Nigerian army be involved in the smallest domestic affairs, nawa ooo when the real gbege come who do we now call ?

can't the government train the police to fully take responsibility for any domestic occurrences like other countries. The only time you see soldiers in a sane country would be during extreme natural disasters, and national threats but in Nigeria the pettiest issues and they would bring the Nigerian army , thats disrespect

It was a good thing that the policemen together with some soldiers arrived earlier to safe them.

This our Nigerian version on how to catch robbers robbing a bank, and not the American way.

No matter what, you they must surely come out. If hungry no catch them, konji go catch them, if konji no catch them, sickness go hold them.
