On a serious note, why are you guys not considering abolishing that reed dance sh!t? Don't you think it's too dirty to be exposing your privates that much in public?
We won't abolish our cultures because some whitewashed Nigerian guy thinks it's prude.

Then you need to go back to secondary school to understand what "idiomatic expressions" means in English.

Interesting, at least I've learned something today.

But why don't other Nigerian tribes identify as Bantus? And what do they identify as?

Bantu is a more recent name given to the group back in 1857 or so. I can assure you that there would be some striking language and cultural similarities between these groups even after been separated after several hundred of years. The first cultural similarity is pastoralism and cow herding. This is common to most of these cultures.

Guilty as charged. Informative though. But just 10 tribes for a country as large as South Africa, wow, that is still reasonably few compared to some other African countries. Am I correct to assume the Swazi tribe you mentioned have their kit and kin separated in the country of Swaziland down there in Southern Africa?
The ONLY Intelligent post here....... These are questions well informed ppl ask.

Not the Naija Olosho, SA BIG yansh bla bla .....

Re: Different South African Tribes by Nobody: 6:54am On May 10, 2023
Sir, mind your own part of Africa please.

You'll never hear us complain about your cultures practiced in West Africa.

And if you have a problem with it, go to the Zulu king yourself and address it, don't come to me because I'm not the right person to complain to.

I'm done.
samuelson06:

Who said it doesn't affect others? What makes you feel so? What culture? Can't you young people come together and say no to such culture? So, you'll deliver your daughter to be part of that sh!t right? Don't you guys have respect for women? Ain't you a woman? C'mon! You guys should speak up against that sh!t. Let's make Africa great.

I don't support the idea of girls going to unknown locations to meet people they've never met before.

But it's her choice.

I don't see any culture in dancing naked. It's totally wrong. Talk to your people about it. You guys should be considering leaving that sh!t in the dustbin of history. The world has gone global and everyone is seeing that sh!t. There's no culture in making a woman appear like a sex object. SA can do better than that. I'm going to engage Malema on this.

I listened to the song and I found the part where you said you heard the click in the song.

The part where they say " you'd swear I'm Xhosa", the Xhosa word itself has got a click.

You're very attentive..😂😂😂

Really? 🤣 I thought I heard the click in their songs

Are there other tribes that click?

We will consider it after *big brother* Nigeria finally leaves the shytty primitive culture of slave trading into the dustbin of history. Selling your women off as sex objects in the name of human trafficking is no different from selling them off to the white man as a slave as was your way back then. You lead the way Sir, I'll contact Tinubu and make sure that this will be his first priority in office .

Go to your malema and stop trying to spoil my thread please, you can even go to Ramaphosa, we don't care.

Just leave my thread for those who want to learn a thing or two about SA tribes and cultures.

It gives me a chance to also learn about other cultures.

Well, life is all about choice. Nobody said you must marry from your country. That's why we have interracial marriages. Whether you support the idea or not, is insignificant. It's normal world wide

Well u have strong points especially your 3.
Whatever the case, pls u guys should make South Africa work. That's the only hope of black man. If South Africa fails, Africa will be permanently tagged a failed continent.
Just like I was telling op, now that blacks are in charge, promote equity and fairness for all race in SA.
Then ensure the best hands are the ones who get the job. If it's a white man, give it him but make sure he's subjected to institutions and constitution controlled by majority blacks.
This way efficiency isn't sacrificed but racism isn't tolerated.
That's how America became a great nation, they put the immigrants to good use while the whites held on to the real power.
Your generation should fix the perceived remnant injustice, those who want to leave are free do so....then move the nation forward as a true rainbow nation.
I love South Africa, it's a beautiful country.

Unfortunately South Africa is not the responsibility of Africans alone, Europeans have to meet us half way as well, and I'm not seeing that happening. They would rather see South Africa burn than see transformation, and they might get their wish with WEF thugs targeting us, and they will be the biggest losers in the end; as we already own nothing but are happy grin grin. Black people did their compromise in 94, what have the cockasians sacrificed in South Africa?.

Few years back SA private sector was rated as the most corrupt in the world by PWC, and guess who leads it ? So they should be willing to part ways with their corrupt ways which they inherited from the apartheid system before anything else. If Europeans want to be seen as the fair and progressive people they portray themselves as, then South African whitties should lead by example grin. Then the world would stop tagging them resource thieves and oppressors. I guess we all have roles to play and things to prove hey ?

There are no black institutions in any African governments, almost all these constitutions were drafted by Jews who run the American academic institutions and ofcourse signed and stamped by puppets like Mandela, that's why they don't serve the needs of Native Africans but the *former* colonial masters. So , all of Africa needs to start there before moving forward.

How did the Americams use the immigrants to become a superpower? And how can a South Africa with huge unemployed youth use these migrants to become a superpower of some sort as well ? I look forward to hearing this one out.
