Just take a look at how Buhari Life has spoilt to this extent. What a shame on the worst Government ever in Nigeria history and yet None of them as nothing to do with the crazy high price in Food.

Because Nigerians overhyped tomato so much like one can't make rice without tomatoes.
There are more than 100 ways to eat white rice, fried rice, name them.

Personally, I hate stew. Can stay one year without it yet I enjoy my white rice. Hit the net and look for alternatives people and be ready to experiment.

Tomatoes are perishable farm produce. When the consumers can't buy them off within the shortest time possible the products gets soften, begins to rotten and lass lass they will be thrown away. By that time who incurre the loss, the seller of course. Except and unless the tomatoes are processed into tomato paste and packaged.

All this is a result of herdsmen and bandits attacking, kidnapping farmers...which makes farmers to be afraid of going to their farms causing scarcity of tomatoes.. transportation of this tomatoes to the market with the high cost of fuel, disel which Increases the cost of transporting this tomatoes to the market with multiple taxation causes tomatoes to be very expensive in the market

I planted tomatoes and everything died, tomatoes that were healthy with flowers died, I think it has something to do with the weather and I'm not the only one affected, hence the sudden price increase of tomatoes.
