N1,000 from obalende to lekki phase1, with better rushing and begging cry[/quote

Can this be true? Though anything is possible in Lagos. The rate at which the commercial bus operators behave and react to a change is seriously alarming. I would never forget the day I spent #1000 for a tfare from Berger to Oshodi just because of the large influx of people at the bus stop; something that I usually pay #400 for.

Obalende to Lekki is normally #200 with those korope, now to #1000, that's too outrageous

So what will happen to a bag of rice, FMCGs, essential medicines, road transport fares, etc?

When the President says unification of the Dollar ,does he mean unified to CBN's N460 or the real market's N750 to the Dollar- as the easiest to do is unification to N750.

Fixed exchange rates have never worked in Nigeria. It just fuels the very lucrtaive biz of round-tripping.

Laconically speaking, subsidy is GONE as mentioned in the inaugural speech was as good as pronouncing any other items of the speech which is not bad.

The removal is obviously not effective yet. People need to see this and focus on the sellers/marketers who are hoarding the fuel in an attempt at to sell at a higher rate.

Price regulation is important to cushion the subsidy fraud, and I hope government will look into it.
The market now is a free market. The government can't fix prices anymore. Everyone is at liberty to sell what he likes.

The fraudulent criminal has added one more name to his title ------- sillybu.

He has just cluelessly began nose diving Nigeria, and trying to stabilize the country on a low flying level.

In issues of fraudulent accounts diversion, he is very good at that. But now, in a real diverse economy, he is really clueless.

Your "wonderful" Obi said he will remove subsidy immediately he takes over. Unfortunately, he didn't. Would you have made this comment if he had won & done as promised? Meanwhile, note that Jagaban isn't even the one that removed subsidy; PMB did. Check the 2023 budget for clarity
If obi had won would you still be defending him for not being the one that removed subsidy? Las las na una go suffer am. Na my mother still dey make me come naija twice a year. I don beg her tire make she come over for where i dey but she only visits.
By tomorrow, the price of everything else will go up. Dey there dey call Obi name. Mpama.

No matter the price of transportation, Nigerians are better off without the subsidy, my own take is that, they should remove it completely, not that tomorrow, they will come back again to say they want to remove subsidy.

And the question some of us want answered is , if this subsidy removal is not attractive and not good for nigerians in 2012 AND 2015 as claimed by the people who are removing it now and there supporters, why has it become good and attractive to us now? At what point did these people realize that they intentionally misled zombies who are pretending like they are gaining anything from this action now?
Or doesn't nigerians deserve an apology from these group for intentionally using their brains? And why will THOSE who orchestrated that action still accuse THOSE that refused to follow them to buhari and tinubu then as haters? Who are the real haters now?
