Is that not the same thing the force agencies always tell us everytime that dey go through strict recruitment process to make sure they recruit the best hands for the job, but at the we always see crooks as what they recruit.

The problem is not weda dey recruit graduates or not, but the system we have in Nigeria at a level. Even most of this force guys are graduates who only join the force agencies because of lack of jobs.

And we all know in Nigeria that the highest percent of people recruited into any government agencies (especially the force agencies), are those wey see who fit carry them waka, na just few people them dey recruit base on merit

The last recruitment was announced vigorously, at the end of the day hausas applied massively. Only south west had just a handful of application from the south. You guys ignored the opportunity to join and do a better job. Now the ones who join will continue to enforce law(either rightly or wrongly) on those who didnt join. Its as simple.

The prb we are having in this country is lack of understanding, if u see an arm man in the name of police or who so ever requesting to take u just respect yourself and follow them, live to fight another day, no matter what, the Lord is ur strength, when u put on a fight and there is accidental discharge it will lead to ur death and the killer is not going to die. Ask ur self this question. Since the return of democracy, how many convicted persons are executed? None. So if the killer pass through court process politicians will always set them free as part of their campaign to show their village people how great they are so that they will believe more in them.
