I applied for postgraduate admission in canada for winter session and up till now the department has not finished the review of the application. I was reliably informed that the offer will come in October.By October, i may not be able to apply for study permit (considering the minimum of 3 months submission time for processing. Can i apply for student visa in Ghana( they take two months to process)? Has anyone done that b4?

I also dont want to defer d admission. I want to get this Msc done and face other things.

I heard sumone saying one cannot sponsor his /herself, is it true? I have enough money to cover the living expense and tuition( $10,000dollars +tuition fee) for a year in my account, i also have properties and shares to cover for the second year.I have 5 years work experiance and a good payslip.what are my chances? I dont want to involve anybody sponsor. I want to do this thing on my own and surprise my family.
Please advise.

It is very possible. You can sponsor yursef, a friend of mine just left for canada last using himself as sponsor.
