The new chief of air staff is a member of the national institute of management, member chartered institute of public management and member Nigerian institute of safety professionals

He is a graduate of the Nigerian defense academy kaduna

He got his master's degree in international affairs and diplomacy from ABU zaria

He has earned several awards and decorations, some of these include:

-Distinguished service star -Passed staff course (PSC) -Fellow defense college -Masters in international affairs -Masters institute of management -Masters chartered institute of public management -Member Nigerian institute of safety professionals

The senior officer has also held several positions in the Nigerian Airforce including commander of presidential air fleet.

He was also a chief of staff, mobility command, director of policy HQ NAF among others

He is happily married with children
