Compare with the way the whites name their uni, you will notice something different.

The western uni names carry and posses earth shaking power.

Nigerian Private University names don't command Respect, power or value.

Maduka University : Someone may think it's an Igbo Nwa boy apprenticeship University... The name no match..

Convanant University : The world may think this is a university where they learn how to mak convanants ... May be some sort of African Harry Potter uni.

Madonna University: You may think is a university for Catholic nuns, monks or a monastery.

Igbenedion University: University owned by village chief or some sort of tradiotional magic man.

Base university: May one university owned by MTV Base in Nigeria.

Legend university: May be its a university for story telling and legends. Or a uni for manufacturing, distribution and shayoing Legend extra stout.

Adekunle University : May be owned by B B Naija adekunle. Who go take this uni serious?

Chioma University : May be Owned by Davidos wife.. A university for Dating, cooking, and house wify things.

Precious University : May be a university owned by Smigo, from Lord of the rings movie.

Universities around the world, whether private or public are like that,named after a person or city, you only feel those of Nigeria have funny names because you have an inferior complex and wanna pull down your own. Even your spelling and interpretation of some of the names is trashy, "convanant" , "Igbenedion" , how does the name "Madonna" sound catholic or from the monastery?, I even thought you wanted to refer to the pop star Madonna .
