People saying nonsense about his response won't understand how it feels. This topic just brought back some memories; nostalgic I must confess



It was when I was idle and waiting for NYSC, had no income coming in again as no more stipends from family and relatives in the name of I am a student lol. So I started playing with my God given talent of writing short stories, poems, screen plays, articles, and whatever writable lol.


In the process I started a blog on a foreign (US-based microblogging site I stumbled upon by mistake). That singular act opened door to a lot of opportunities for me.


One day, I received a wow message from a popular American celebrity, it was like a dream. He gave me a small task which I finished almost same day and sent to him, he was satisfied and the next problem was how to pay me, the money was small though; $100 then but it was like 1billion to me cos it gave me confidence that what I was doing was good



From there an Australian Jazz music star contacted me for another small task, from there I got inspiration to start writing for money and that was how I published my first book on Amazon Kdp and I made a lot of money from there.


To all young Nigerians reading this comment, please try and be focused in life, and try and acquire a skill, very important. Whatever talent God deposited in you, please develop it, don't underrate it or abandon it, your greatness most times lay in that untapped talent and passion.


Be diligent in life, be hardworking, don't be shy to do legitimate work. Run away from internet scam no matter how tempting it maybe, it doesn't pay at the long run. Yes girls and ladies won't fancy you because of your humble beginning but be focused on whatever you are doing, your time must come.



If you see a small paying job that will give you an opportunity to kickstart life, please accept it and use it to build your portfolio of experience to get a better job. Don't always focus on making money, focus on entertaining and serving people and with time money will surely come.
