Starting from July 18, officials from the Russian Ministry of Education will not be allowed to use Apple devices at work, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports
with reference to the order from acting Minister of Education Alexander Bugaev.
The decision was made in accordance with the Doctrine of Russia's information security. The Ministry of Education believes that the ban will help ensure the protection and control over the circulation of official information.

It is not only ministry employees, but also employees of subordinate organisations that will not be allowed to use Apple devices at work. The restriction will apply to activities related to "the production, transmission and distribution of information generated in the course of their official and work activities in the performance of official duties.”

In July, the Ministry of Industry and Trade banned the use of Apple's iPhones for official purposes. The decision was made following an announcement from Russia's Federal Security Bureau (FSB). The FSB said that intelligence agencies use Apple devices to spy on Russian citizens, including Russian diplomats. Rostec Corporation (Russian Technologies) introduced a similar ban last week. The Ministry of Digital Development also promised to stop using Apple devices, RIA Novosti said

Russia accuses US of hacking thousands of Apple devices to spy on diplomats
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) is accusing U.S. intelligence of hacking “thousands of Apple phones” to spy on Russian diplomats.

Russian intelligence claims that the investigation revealed that Apple is collaborating with the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA).

“This proves that Apple's stated commitment to protecting the privacy of user data is, in fact, misleading,” the FSB said.

The NSA declined to comment. An Apple spokesperson disputed the FSB report.

"We have never worked with any government to insert a backdoor into any Apple product and never will," the spokesperson said.

Oleg Shakirov, an expert on foreign policy and security at the Center for Strategic Research, said that this type of accusation from the FSB — which he referred to as “quasi-attribution” — is not unusual for Russian authorities.

“While somewhat specific, they lack technical details,” he wrote on Twitter.

yes Chinese people uses more apple products than US ,this is because of their population just about 24% of them uses apple products and that is given you about 336m people,but when you consider phone apple dominate Chinese market UpTo 2022 or so i don't know about now

I think you mistake iphones for apple products overall, there are more iphones in china than the u.s.
But there are more apple products in the u.s than any country in the world.
