we love our own old revivalist,
pentecostal fathers, awful weapon of prophetic figure,
dreadful carriers of blazing fire,
the unmovable crag of holiness, the colossus image of apostolic unction
and pining heart of evangelical grace;
the Garrick braide, orimolade, oshofa, Babalola,
Akindayomi, Omotunde,odunbanjo, olatunji,
idahosa, Aseboye, Oyedepo, Abiara.
we will write their biographies,
reverence their memories, frame their epitaphs and build their cenotaphs,
we shall do everything except imitate them cos we have our own purpose to live.
Thanks for bringing fire into our country,
you are heroes that cannot be forgotten even after a thousand years,
you did grater wonder because you lay hold on God. to you all i pay my indebted tribute,
thanks for changing the face of Christianity in Nigeria ad the world at large.
