HOW YOUNG ABDALLAH, A 17-YEAR-OLD OF YOLA TOWN GOT K!LLÉD AFTER BEING WRONGLY ACCUSED OF STEALING IPHONE 7

Abdallah, a young boy of 17 years full of ambition and high expectations for what the future holds for him was writing his Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) when an unfortunate incident occurred that brought about his untimely death.

The young boy was falsely accused of stealing a phone (iphone 7) by their neighbour: Shuaibu Wambai Zumo, a staff of the Adamawa State Scholarship Board. The boy was then taken from their home by a group of men (who were later identified as Operation Farauta)

It was alleged that the Operation Farauta told his family that they just want to question him, but was later brought back crying, with handcuffs on and thoroughly beaten. He told his dad that he told them that he took the phone so as to spare his life because of the way he was being tortured.

The group of men (so called Operation Farauta) came into the house and searched for the phone but couldn’t find it. While the search was still going on, Abdallah started vomiting blood and collapsed.

The neighbour was of the opinion that nothing happened to the boy but was only pretending but the parents rushed their child to the Moddibo Adama University Teaching hospital Yola where he remained unconscious for four days and died this morning (9th August, 20)

It was later found that the phone was taken by someone else and not Abdallah.

Whether he atole the phone or not, there is no justification for the way he was handled. I hope those wicked men will be dealt with. Why will you beat a human being to the point of death because of an outdated iPhone 7? Even dogs are left alive when they use their teeth to damage iPhones or other valuables. Blood suckers!

But the part that says "wrongly accused" is not justified in the post. The post doesn't explain how it was established that the accusation was false. The boy's claim of admitting to the crime just to avoid more beating might be true or false. Failure to find the phone in the boy's house is also not a substantial proof that the accusation is false.

Jungle justice is not fair. Wasted life 😭
