Coping Without Blackberry: How Has It Been? by Nobody: 10:20am On Oct 12, 2011
LMAO, I aven't stopped laughing since monday.

BB ohhhhhhhh see what they told us today, "The messaging and browsing delays being experienced by BlackBerry users in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Brazil, Chile and Argentina were caused by a core switch failure within RIM's infrastructure. Although the system is designed to failover to a back-up switch, the failover did not function as previously tested. As a result, a large backlog of data was generated, and we are now working to clear that backlog and restore normal service as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we will continue to keep you informed. " "http://crackberry.com/blackberry-services-down-again-emea-region"

The issue now is that Blackberry can be the most boring phone on earth without it's BIS services. But its a plus to some people especially me, In the past when you try to gist with a babe especially when am on my way back from work and am in the BRT bus. While gisting with her, she would keep asking for excuses at every 2mins to respond to her PING then wuld apologize after. I find it annoying, cuz it makes the conversation boring. But since Monday evening, they have been a bit different. In fact they are the ones that would start up the conversation.

Whats your experience? cheesy

There should be a mini thread title 'How are you coping with your blackberry friends?'

My roommate finally cooked rice without burning it, he had no pinging distraction.

The best part.
He now sees why my Android is better than his crack, cheesy

server will be put online again in a few hours for testing. the new bbm specially designed for os7 actually had alot of bugs during test that resulted to this, all will soon be ok but dont expect the bbm 7 sooner.

I hate it when i hear the less priviledge say that they hate BB, I can only listen to those using the Iphone4, Galaxy Tabs, The Andriods and Ermmm HTC family etc, Not that you are making use of a Sagem X6 or Nokia Xpress Music 5510, And you come here to shout. You can't be a Fan of BB cuz your condition made you that way. grin

It is your type of thinking that makes people who cannot send SMS by themselves carry a Blackberry around like a donkey carrying books it cannot benefit from.

Re: Coping Without Blackberry: How Has It Been? by Princek12(m): 5:52pm On Oct 12, 2011
I wonder how the ashys have been negotiating business during the BB Messenger outage.
Re: Coping Without Blackberry: How Has It Been? by Nobody: 5:54pm On Oct 12, 2011
i agree, .it's HARD. bb sucks without bbm. it's the stickiest feature. i wouldn't be using a blackberry without bbm.  but this one wey them say iphone go get imessage, i'm still going to wait until more friends around the world get it before i switch.  i've deleted my fb n only use twitter sometimes. my Torch broke within one year. i am honestly sick of ""renting" phone which is what we are doing considering how phones these days don't last. I was going to just buy a new bb because the storm i downgrade to is a piece of crap .
Re: Coping Without Blackberry: How Has It Been? by Jolomsguy(m): 5:57pm On Oct 12, 2011

Re: Coping Without Blackberry: How Has It Been? by Tinyemeka(m): 6:22pm On Oct 12, 2011
I bought my BB mainly for the browsing experience rather than chatting and funny enough I've still been able to browse using Opera mini 6 (not the BB native browser).

My only pain only comes from not being able to use the Facebook app for BB. This is faster than going thru a browser to access FB.

I wonder why I've still been able to browse on BB?
