$ 55 for 1 BRICS. How strong are South africa's goods and its economy compared to those of China, India, and Russia? This will benefit China not South Africa. How strong are your Universities?
Why would someone spend that much money to go live, or do business, or go to school in South Africa? Moreover Year 2021 data show the following in terms of population
China: 1. 412 Billion
India: 1. 408 Billion
Brazil : 214 million
Russia : 143. 4 million
South Africa: 59.39 million
Why would people invest in South Africa with such heavy money instead of going to Brazil, China, India and Russia which that have more and better infrastructure? This looks like South Africa will be used like a moda foka.
Last but not least: Nigeria with its population ( more than 200 million ) and its huge natural resources would do better in the BRICS organization.

when BRICs was established NIgeria was still undergoing self made slavery,NIgerian leaders are not capable of making decisions independent of their colonial masters because bric intend to trade without using dollar but Nigerian leaders maybe afraid of trading without dollar for reasons best known to them.

So the bric countries had to look for a willing African partner.
