there is some thing i noticed in Nigerian, just like Messi and Ronaldo. Ronaldo compare himself with Messi while Messi compared himself with maradonna. Yoruba people compare their selves with igbos while igbos compare themselves with American and western world

Is that why your States are a pile of crap and you lot jump on every bus going to the S.West?

Yoruba started Nollywood yet, most Yoruba actors and actresses didn't break through the English version of Nollywood from baba suwe to Mr latin down to Femi adebayo.

The Igbos gave Nollywood life and since Yoruba actors and actresses couldn't break through the English version of Nollywood probably because their english sucks, Dem kuku create Nollywood Yoruba to console themselves.

Acting English movies isn't a breakthrough. Let me enlighten you that Femi Adebayo is a law graduate

English is not the definition of nollywood knowing producers reserves the right to choose his cast. First musical recording was by a yoruba man, first movie was by a yoruba man. Decades after, we have domitila and the rest.

Pick an Igbo professor, an Hausa professor, an Edo professor, an Ibibio professor, and a Yoruba professor.

Ask them to discuss Nigeria.

The Yoruba professor would shock you with his world view that would not be so different from that of a baba Tunde the mechanic.

They are education-proof.

I guess that is why they have the first Nobel Laureate, first Doctor, Lawyer, Accountant... whilst your folks were dancing around the fire?

Lmao, you know why I’m not surprised. You come from a jungle. You should be grateful to Yorubas that evolved your ancestors, if not you will still be in the bush walking around naked. We know your history. Your people were naked walking around, described as uncivilized and idle. So I don’t expect much from you.

What the fxck?!

Where did you get that from please?

Lol.

Go to the street , take a survey and say that again.

We should go to the street to count petty traders and gala hawkers or what?
Poverty makes you stay and roam about in the street.

All the facts including the ones from UNDP,WORLD BANK show that from the inception of Nigeria till date,Yorubas have always been the richest both in Nigeria and as Nigerians abroad.

They have the highest number of professors, lawyers, doctors, engineers, real estate practitioners(an Haven for billionaires...Yorubas control almost 70% of this sector....ICT,only GLO in ICT swallows whatever you want to believe you have not to talk of Flutterwave,Esusu etc)
How can you even use your petty trading to equate massive businesses owned by the Yorubas in Nigeria and abroad.

Moreover, only the city of Ibadan has more infrastructures than the entire Igboland SE.
It has the highest number of more than 11 GRAs and still counting in Nigeria.
Please,don't be a clown.

Na English you dey talk.

First home video was in the 80s or even possibly 70s, done by a Yoruba man.

Did Hollywood or Bollywood start with their first blockbuster?

If the Wright brothers developed a crude contraception as the first airplane, does it mean they didn't start it?

Oya what is the name of the film naaaa if the commercial motion in the 70s or 80s was done by a Yoruba man. You are even doubting yourself because you cannot even bring facts to back up what you are saying.

First homevideo was in the 80s by a Yoruba man, so what are you going on about?

Besides are you saying Hollywood or Bollywood also started with their first VHS or blockbuster?

Not making sense brev!

Oga stop displaying ignorance, I dare you to mention that film by a yoruba man done either in the 70s or 80s and also mention the production company and the marketing company and also mention the number of copies sold.
Also Living in Bondage started with VHS as well if you must know in 1993 exactly.

Wow!

Lol, the reason they removed history is because of ibos, don’t just try to dig. They have a very nasty history

When Oyo empire was thriving, they were still walking around naked inside bush. Have you ever wondered why they don’t have any ancient city or royals?
You hear of Oyo empire, Benin empire, sokoto caliphate. Is there anything in history for Igbos? They were unorganized, uncivilized and had no organized society but were scavengers inside bush. The strong beat up the weak and eat them

Evercurious

Cinema and TV no be Nollywood. How many times can we correct you? Nollywood is the commercial production of recorded home videos
Where are the home videos now.Does it mean that Igbos'Nollywood has died.
Your analogy stinks of illiteracy.

Nobody is saying that Igbos did not play a very great and laudable part in Nollywood and they are still doing that.
What they are saying is that Yorubas started, created or even invented Nollywood in Nigeria.
They still continue to be the best in Nollywood till date with the highest sellable and highest selling movies both in English and the local languages.
You can't beat them because they are always good in what they do but not perfect.
Igbos are great too only that Yorubas have always proven to be better.

Ija Ominira was made in 1979. This is from the British Film Institute.
This was followed by the likes of Aye and Jayesinmi in the 80s by Hubert Ogunde.
The movie industry in Nigeria was pioneered by Yorubas there's no question about it.

did they miss, absolutely NO. Any1, even ppl with poor eyesight or blind ppl can recognise eboe with their body odour, ebeo women have high testosterone level, they are extremely hairy and their body is always straight like a man. eboe men have alien-shaped head, ugly voice (like Peter Obi), You can even spot eboes with their ugly accents, even the few educated ones still can't speak English without hearing the eboe tone. another factor is the inability to speak Yoruba very well. all these trash that you ppl are saying about freshness is just to console your anger and make yourself look good when in reality it is nothing loooooooooooooooooooooool
