Please go and study the political structure and set-up. One of it's kind and it's working for them. One moment you saying western political system don't work now you see a hybrid that's working you are accusing him.

A political system functions based on the visionary leader. Rwandians are not complaining, of course there will be disgruntled elements from the time of the civil war. But all the tribal groups see see kagame as the only legitimate person that honestly have their interest. People like you praise Saudi despite how brutally wicked the royal family is.hypocrites
Please what is special about the political system of Rwanda....
Any system that involves repression of opposition views, is that one a system?
Please if there's anything unique about Rwanda, do let me know

I can understand the case of Paul Kagame.

He can be spared because of the dark history of Rwanda that is the war that took place that led to genocide and the killing of tutsi.

Rwanda needs him to finish what he started.
This is simply not true, with time as a person stays long in power without having the right political system to gain legitimacy from the majority of the people, there will be cracks which will blow open someday...

Kagame decided to Weaken his Own Military, at the expense of Rwanda rather than leave Office - this is the Kagame that Nigerian Governors just traveled several Miles to go and learn "How to run Govts from!"

After 23 years in office and claiming to have to turned Rwanda into Paris and Dubai, he is unable to leave Office for the things he has started to be passed on to the next generation...

Lols..
No thoughts of the "leaders of tomorrow "

The werey still does not realize he's already exposing his military to seamless infiltration... Or he feels he can control the new? Even Lord Putin lost his old time goon to outside influence...smh

The continent only had independence on paper, their rulers still continue their "yes sir" behavior as long as their pockets remain full.

My only fear is if the soldier boys running this show are not under another group from outside. Or if they'll focus on development instead of trying to loot as much as they could.

If they could transfer the government back to civilians seemlessly, it'll be commendable. Ah, I don't know jor, I jhus trust my royal self only to deal with all these kinda issues, other people are untrustworthy... cheesy

My vawulent mind go even trace bigots online and force them to unify. Ah, imagine the birth of a united Nigeria, no one will dare to yab anyone because of his tribe..

Make enjoyment no kih me abeg...cheesy

If you are old enough to had witness military rule, you wont be talking like this. They are far worse than the bad civilian government. They are corrupt and unapologetic 500% than any civilian government. Military government is such a brutal and bad experience that no one should ever pray for.

What you highlighted as solution to avoid military coup are the things they does withiout apologies or questioning.

If a seat tight president is not good, people will revolute no matter how subjugated they are. The revolution should never be done through military coup because they will destroy the country more than they meet it.

I don't think my comment was pro-coup. Read again.

He has forgotten that a warrant officer can stage a coup cool . Kagame is a dictator not a good leadership example undecided . Let's forget the media hype of Rwanda, 4-5 years is enough for any serious leaders. Nelson Mandella spent 4yrs in govt and SA remains one of the biggest economies and most successful in the world. Every African leaders should learn from Nelson

You talk gibberish. Kagame is the only African leader with Africa solution. Look at the UN peace keepers in central Africa republic, they Rwandan peace keeping troops. This is because Wagner have no business in Africa, yet you clap and hail the demon Putin. When kagame have helped keep his country together since the genocide. He doesn't do strong politics thus the reasons he doesn't get political opposite, he's compared to Tito. Tito held Yugoslavia together and all the ethnicities flourished under him, when he died it was when the vultures started circling
You are the one talking gibberish angry which African solution did he have undecided, Rwanda is a glorified slump forget the media hype. Cyril Rhamaphosa of SA, Algeria and Kenyan president are the best as we speak undecided

Fear of the wind of gabon.

If you practice real democracy, you don't need to be afraid.
If you are a product of clear democratic process, you don't need to be afraid.
If the majority of your people are happy with your leadership, you don't need to be afraid.

But if you are a product of a criminal process, if you like retire all the soldiers and bring in new ones, the wind blowing will blow you off.
Yes he doesn't need to be afraid, but prevention is better than cure!

You can't be beating someone and work hard to stop him crying, the earlier African leaders change their style of leadership the better it becomes for them. They can't continue like this and not expect coup.

He did well, if not the junior officers are likely to revolt against the senior ones. Stagnation in the military is one of the major causes of coups

A toast to your comment! Suffices to say; One would best sit back and observe there is more afoot. A concealed plot is in play, a script by which forces i cannot ascertain. In glorious reference to Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan the people lurking amidst the corridors of power are blindsided by the shinny lights. Forgive them for they know not what they do. Tinubu must really be on edge. Forget the joy of the Nigerian Presidency, the man dey hot seat.

This is the man many obidients are praising he has ruled for 23 years yet still want to carry on is that a democracy Between him and Paul Biya, Museveni, Mobutu, Mugabe is there any difference? No.

A responsible leader must leave office voluntarily after spending 2 term in office. Now he is retiring millitary in disguise of playing good leader but was actually trying to avoid Gabon, Niger, Mali, Burkina coup issue in Rwanda and keep ruling forever.

Paul Kagame should respect himself and take his leave now. You have been the president of Rwanda since the year 2000, the country is not your property, pass the baton to another person.
23 years is enough. Let others try their best too.

He has been the Rwanda President since 1994 after the genocide.

Lee Kwan yu ruled Singapore for 30 years ,let each nation practice the type of system that works , Rwanda is a stable country , he wouldn't have gone far if he had allowed normal democracy especially after the genocide , the west have always hated him but let him continue in power .
