I keep wondering what is happening to those already arrested and the properties confiscated from them. Cos u see many back to the street after a short while.

Efcc should be more transparent in dealing with these guys by also showing us the progress of their prosecutions and not just pics during arrest. In short we need EFCC TV for this.

The EFCC should leave yahoo boys alone and focus on our politicians angry! How many politicians have they arrested and jailed sad!?
These fraudsters are just trying to make ends meet, as the same government has failed them over and over again. Some can't even fend for themselves legitimately no more. Go to school campuses, students are doing anything possible to at least stay and graduate from schools, others who can't are dropping out of the system..

Before you mention rubbish to me, know that a lot has changed lately, unlike our days when we went to schools with a paltry sum...

Was EFCC set up specifically to arrest internet fraudstars alone? What about government officials and Contractors. Why is EFCC not going after them?
I laugh when I see people hailing EFCC for convicting Yahoo boys. In case you don't know, once EFCC arrest them, they go into negotiation. EFCC and the judges will collect their share of the money and the yahoo boys will be sentenced with an option of fines. They will quietly pay the fines and go home and continue the business.
That's how the game is played. All na wash.

Maybe you see them after they have served their prison sentence or paid a fine. It depends on the court not EFCC.

SOME OF THESE GUYS ARE FREELANCERS AND INTERNET BEGGERS.

They are just been arrested just because they adorn dredlock hair styles and they drive fancy or flashy cars.

Not all of them are the so called yahoo boys or YAHOO PLUS

They are been arrested just to show that the Nigeria Police are working.

But they have not been able to checkmate corrupt politicians or Fulani herdsmen now ravaging states in Nigeria.

FULANI HERDSMEN HAVE KILLED, KILLED, KILLED, BELLIFUL AND THE NIGERIA POLICE ARE NOT TAKING ACTION.

The Nigerian Police prefer softer target.

When armed robbers stormed banks in Nigeria you do not see the fighting spirit of the policemen they will run into hiding.

BUT THE SOFTER TARGET THAT WILL MAKE THEM TO TAKE BRIBE TO ENRICH THEMSELVES THE NIGERIA POLICE WILL BE BEATING THEIR CHEST CELEBRATING THE "MUGU" THEY HAVE CAUGHT.

EFCC flece them of what they have gathered and release them back to the society to recoup and target them again for harvest. It's a continuous cycle.

What of political yahoo men,who has EFCC arrested lately and more importantly how many politicians have EFCC successfully convicted in the past one year. If Nigeria was a working country most of these boys won't be into this crime and besides the mode of catching them would make their case a non case because most of these boys are arrested when EFCC forcefully enters their house without warrants which is against the law and forcefully gain access to their phones.
EFCC should focus on the few people who has ensured that this country doesn't move forward. My opinion

The Supreme Court has held that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) does not have the powers to prosecute offenses that are not corruption cases and that the only corruption cases it can investigate are cases involving the movement of cash from Nigeria to foreign countries and corruption cases involving federal finances, being a creation of federal law.

EFCC should not arrest anybody unless the allegation is about "illicit financial outflow from Nigeria", or "corruption cases involving federal finances".
