Shocking Map Shows How Israel Took Over Palestine Since 1947

I have been advocating for peaceful resolution of the war between the Palestinians and the Israeli but this map below really shocked me.

It's really shocking that the world has watched this go on since 1947 and all attempts to stop Isreal from further expansion has been rebuffed by the Isreal Government.

The current government in Israel was formed by a coalition of politicians who promised the electorates to build more settlements on disputed lands , chase out civilian Palestinians from their homes for Isreali settlers to take over and use force to further take more of the little land left for the Palestinians.


Can this war really be resolved if the problem represented in this map is not resolved?

Many have repeatedly stated that this hostility can never end. I refuse to believe it. The killings on both sides can stop if both parties give peace a chance.

How on earth can a war that has a beginning never have an end?

Have you seen the viral video of the elderly Palestinian woman being chased out of her home, same home she was born and raised?
The Isreal settlers quickly moved into that house o and she was thrown out with her family. To live where and will you accept such kind of treatment?

let's tell ourselves the truth, in the Bible, the Palestinians owns ashdod, askelon, gath and Gaza, but now, only small part of Gaza was left for the Palestinians, Israel took Palestinian lands, even the infamous Goliath is from gath.

Yes, the Israeli government uses the bible as part of their proofs that the land originally belongs to them.

The Holy land has always been a place of struggle for opposing powers even before the Crusaders and their wars and I am blame the Arabs solely for what has been happening there cos they started this land grabbing stuffs then.

Israeli and Palestinian conflict dates back centuries, the earliest account being from the bible.

The story goes like this:

Jewish tribes occupied some lands at some point in history in what is known today as the middle east.

During the rise of islam after the 6th century, arabs invaded Jewish tribes and occupied their lands, most notably, Jerusalem

The Jews had multiple tribes who were not always working together so it was usually difficult to mount a united defense against the invading arabs, however, the fight for Jerusalem continued and went back and forth between the arabs and the jews. Eventually, Jerusalem and other jewish occupied regions were conquered by the arabs and the jews lived under arab rule all over the middle east.

For over 600 years, most of the middle east was under the rule of the ottoman empire, but with the fall of the empire to British and French forces during the first world war, politics in the middle east started reshaping again as independent Arab nations were formed. In the process of catering to the needs of different interest groups, the British agreed that a Jewish homeland needed to be created in the Palestinian region at the time.

The major conflicts between Palestines and Jews, however, started during the mass migration of Jews into the Palestinian region from Eastern Europe, and eventually from Western Europe during the Nazi Germany era.

Palestinian uprising and terror attacks started in resistance to the rising Jewish population, and a demand of independence for Palestine. The Jews were also demanding for a Jewish state in the region, and swiftly responded to the growing Palestinian attacks.

Fast-forward to 1948, with support from local and international Jewish communities all over the world especially the US, the Jews eventually declared the State of Israel in the geographical region known as jewish territories in the Palestinian region. Soon after, Arab nations went to war against Israel, a war which Israel decisively won. This war and subsequent conflicts displaced over 700,000 Palestinians, and Israel expanded its territories and occupied more regions in the West Bank.

Israel continues to be under attack from Arab militia groups, and each time, Israel responds to force with force. It has been like that till today

Smh. Please don't derail the thread. If your 84 year old grandmother was chased out, you will not be here hiding behind a moniker. Your HoA representative, House of Reps member, Senator and Governor would have ensured that the alleged culprits are brought to book.

If you could get the young lady Mmesoma Ejikeme to bring JAMB to face a national Assembly committee, this one you are raising will be a piece of cake.

God gave the land of Canaan which is present day Israel to father Abraham, the Jewish progenitor.

For the solution, the Hamas terrorist group hiding within the Palestinian populace has to be exterminated and until then, I can't see a permanent peace being established in that region. Boss, the fight no concern us o so make we just dey look since the Palestinian civilians are complicit here.

FYI, the Jewish people's intentions ain't to totally drive out the Palestinians but they need to create a security buffer within themselves since so that Hamas PLO/ Hamas won't take advantage of the situation.
