The new project is known as ‘The Ark’ and will serve as the church’s new auditorium replacing the 50,000 capacity. Faith Tabernacle

100,000 seater capacity stadium like auditorium was designed by students and graduates of the Covenant University

Sitting on about a 1000 hectares of land and located inside the Canan Land , the new gigantic building will be the first of its kind in the whole world.

Aside the auditorium, a 20 storey tower will also be constructed as the headquarters of the church.

Reports say the church has committed an estimated over N100 billion to the project.

Completion period is three years time as work is expected to start soon on the long-awaited megachurch auditorium.

Catholics do not worship white images. We Catholics believe that God is a spirit and cannot be depicted in any physical form.

However, we Catholics do venerate images of saints and other holy figures. These images are not worshipped as gods, but are rather honored and respected as representations of holy people who have lived exemplary lives. Take note.

People have times without number mistakenly believe that Catholics worship white images because of the predominance of white skin color in Catholic religious art but this is always due to a number of factors, including:

- The historical influence of European culture on the Catholic Church.

- The use of light and dark symbolism in Christian art, with white representing purity and goodness.

- The fact that many saints are depicted in white robes, which symbolize their baptismal innocence and their status as citizens of heaven.

Lastly, it is up to each individual Catholic to decide how they feel about images of saints and other holy figures and if you have seen one or some doing this, then they don't actually know what they are doing beacuse a thing like that ain't preached in catholic church.

It's important you and your kinds note that these images are not worshipped as gods, but are rather honored and respected as representations of holy people who have lived exemplary lives. Again take note.


Regarding the "No black saint/all saints are white" statement, I will tell you this;

There are many images of saints and other holy figures of color in Catholic churches and homes.

Yes, there are many Black saints in the Catholic Church but you failed to realize this because of ignorance and quick urge to condemn the Catholic church as usual.

Here are few of the most known;

- Saint Maurice of Aganaum (3rd-4th century) was a Roman soldier who was martyred for refusing to renounce his Christian faith. Saint Maurice of Aganaum is the patron saint of soldiers and those who work in law enforcement.



- Saint Benedict the Moor (1526-1589) was a Franciscan friar who was born in Sicily. He was the son of African slave parents. Saint Benedict the Moor was known for his humility, obedience, and charity. He was also a gifted preacher and confessor.



- Saint Josephine Bakhita (1869-1947) was born in Sudan and sold into slavery at a young age. She was eventually brought to Italy, where she was converted to Catholicism. Saint Josephine Bakhita was known for her forgiveness and her compassion for others. She dedicated her life to helping other victims of slavery and trafficking.




- Saint Martin de Porres (1579-1639) was a Dominican lay brother who was born in Lima, Peru. He was the son of a Spanish nobleman and a Black slave. Saint Martin de Porres was known for his humility, charity, and devotion to the Eucharist. He was also a skilled herbalist and healer. See Last image.


These are just a few examples of the many Black saints in the Catholic Church.

And the main point is that these saints are role models for all Christians, and which their stories are meant to inspire us to live an upright live devoid of satanic conscience.
