The conflict between Israel and Hamas has exposed many people. Many people would find it hard to go back to normal having described their each other as trash, oppressors, animals, terrorists, Nazis, or used other worse names. Many people failed the test.

There are people who went all the way against Israel, not seeing things from their point of view after the massacre of 1400 people by Hamas. Many even said that Israel was simply a terrorist state that did not have the right to exist. Rockets are fired into Israel, they say, yeah, they are the occupiers and must face the consequences.

There are many people who also went all the way against Palestine, saying all of them are terrorists and terrorist sympathizers, and anyone who attended a pro-Palestine rally was a terrorist. They justified the bombing to death of thousands of children and women and claimed that most Palestinians voted for Hamas, even though the last election there was in 2006 when half of the people there were not even born. Some even called for a nuclear bomb to be dropped on Gaza where about 2.3 million civilians live. Others said it should be turned into a parking lot. A refugee settlement is bombed killing hundreds of innocent civilians, they said, yeah, that's great, Hamas commander was hiding there. It was and is still disgusting.

On television, they all took one side, either siding with Israel or Palestine. They brought out their dark side. Many of the people who called for pro-Palestine protesters to be arrested were born outside the United States or their parents or grandparents relocated to the United States. They fled those countries because those countries did not have the First Amendment, the freedom to express your views whether others agree with you or not. Many of those people who called for censorship were trying to turn the United States into countries they fled from, not knowing that's what makes the United States the greatest country in the world.

I have never been disappointed in people the way I have been in the past three weeks, seeing people who were not able to open their hearts a little bit on all sides, deceiving themselves that they were more Americans than other Americans. It was disgusting to watch.

So what's the solution? It's the heart of man! You should see people as people, and you should understand that violence against anyone, anywhere, whether in Israel, Palestine, or the United States, often does not solve much. The First World War ends, we go back to the Second World War. That one ends, we go back to the next. It goes on and on, solves no problem and only enriches the same people, the military-industrial complex. Anyone who praises the killing of innocent civilians, on either side needs to understand that it comes from their heart, they are just using the conflict to unleash what was always there, their dark side!

Finally, the two or three times that 80 percent of everything on the planet was killed, it was not even by man, natural events killed almost everything. We're so fragile that an earthquake can just kill a million people tomorrow, hurricanes can just take hundreds of thousands of lives, all of us would die, regardless of countries, races, nationalities, all of us. We love to think that we are very different, but we are not. There is just one race, the human race. Every day is a miracle and we must enjoy it. Anything else is a lie.

I don't want to be biased here but the reason why we have Hamas today is as a result of the rejection of the two state solution. Gaza is not ruled by the Palestinian prime minister. Israel is not in or occupying the west bank.

yes Gaza is not ruled by president Mahmoud abass because gazans see him as a puppet of Israel.

Israel also doesn't want a two state solution, the reason they keep expanding their settlements and occupation
