Lawless people, when they catch them now they will start crying. The government should make sure they milk anybody caught dry as a deterrent to others. 14 Likes 1 Share |

Decentralise this country! Make other ports functional to reduce Apapa gridlock. The funny thing is that if you use force on those truck drivers, they can use their trucks to block all the express roads in the state and you will do ZILCH! Even soldiers run away from them when they start displaying their madness. 12 Likes |

When you nurse, feed and water impunity and corruption, they become larger than you so much that you can't control it any longer. Do you know the millions of Naira some people make on a daily basis because of those trucks parked there? The fowl has come home to roost.i think Nollywood should even do a movie about this Apapa gridlock because the amount of organised crime going on there,it's legendary 5 Likes |

Fantastically corrupt. No one will get fired for this. This is one of the reasons why Nigeria is a third world country. These are the demons that importers and traders face and some will have the audacity to criticize traders for selling their goods at high prices. The fact is that Nigeria's ease of doing business is very bad. |

Has any Lagos past government able to curtail truckers? Those trucks are owned by people dinning with the government both in Lagos and Abuja. Those guys are paying as high as 100-300k to move each truck to the port, so the government is benefiting from them. |

Forget most of those stories, look at the plate numbers of those trucks, you will see that they come far from the north west and north east. You will see like rano, rimi oil and gas tankers and so on plenty like mad. And what's the major reason, the ipman has resumed importation and their ship came in I think this week in large quantities. They even carried the news here, so those ones far away heard that and started rushing to Lagos. So expect lawlessness and racketing among those unions and their agencies. These are one of what has been happening for long. When nnpc were sole importer of the products, there were sanity on that road, but immediately they allow them back to import, you will see madness. Labour union leaders won't see all these. Their unions are so corrupt like mad. I know what am saying. Let the Lagos state attempt to enforce and move them away from that place now, they will block everywhere sighting witch-hunt. They should decentralise those depot outskirt Lagos totally. 1 Like |
