You need to understand that God will never be united with the world and him choosing you automatically makes you a social misfit with the world. We cannot fit in with the world as a true Christian whom God has called because even Christ himself never fitted in with the world when he was on earth. He was treated like an outcast because of his different way of thinking, living and his teachings. If you follow him truly, you cannot be loved by the world or fit in with it. There will be major differences between you and the world around you from how you dress yourself, how you reason and how you live.
