What is NIYA?
NIYA is an acronym for Nigerian Youth Academy, a dynamic Youth-Focused Education and Empowerment Platform, launched by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development in 2024. NIYA is a program that aims to empower and train 7 million Nigerian youth over the next 2 years, generating 5 million jobs in the next 4 years. NIYA is a platform that offers online and live classes, digital community, start-up support, youth participation in politics, job fair and opportunities, and lifetime resource hub. NIYA is a platform that is created for Nigerian youth, by Nigerian youth, with the support of the Minister of State for Youth Development.

Eligibility and Criteria for Federal Ministry of Youth Development (NIYA)
To be eligible for NIYA, you need to meet the following criteria:
• You must be a Nigerian within the age of 18 to 35.
• You can be a student, graduate, freelancer, entrepreneur, jobseeker, or employee, regardless of your educational background, location, or sector.
