Hi,found out last yr dat i had grave's disease.had d normal symptoms like slight protrusion of d left eye nd d neck region,change in complexion nd loss of weight.was put on propanol nd one oda drug(wish i cnt rem rite nw) 4 over a yr and i wasnt seeing any difference,felt d drug werent workin and my monthly thyroid test was so irregluar thru out this one yr.basically,i stp d drugs nd just optd 2 b positive nd stay healthy.startd adding weight nd i look more health nw than whn i was on d drugs.i was told dat i must hv surgery bt am abit reluctant abt it,so questn is r there any effective drugs u cn recommend nd is surgery d last resort?(already hv a hugh scar frm a ruptured appenditis down blow,dnt wnt any more scars).awaiting replies,thanks.
