The problem in Africa is that people in government who embezzle money running in millions of dollars are not severely punished but celebrated whereas those caught stealing in the streets are given jungle justice. The people who are causing the greatest damage to society are not punished but the lesser criminals are punished severely. Therefore, the embezzlers are more emboldened to steal and create maximum suffering for the people.

There is no curse, when there is no deterrent, corruption abounds.

Africa countries are not actually different from each other. It's almost the same trend all over the continent.

I've followed Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda, Liberia, Equatorial Guinea, Angola and my beloved Nigeria closely and I can tell you, many at the helm of affairs over there have no business with politics.
