I don't think this is true as of today. The news was published last year and the NMC of UK has dealt with those involved. Of course, everything is yet to be concluded but it shouldn't sound like a new event or another one. Some people just like to run electricity in their body for any trash exhumed and posted on nairaland. Some people from the culprit test centre in Ibadan are facing some sort of challenge because they happened to be at the centre to sit the exam. NMC has asked them to retake the test to clear any doubt. Click on the link below the post and get the full story which the poster could not digest. |

Emekaonline:See how you are hyperventilating to defend criminality. Does what you wrote there cover the fact your president is an accused forger and drug baron? Or we we should keep quiet because Hushpuppy also forged document? Remind me what Oluwole stands for? |

The exam lasts for 240 minutes (4 hours) giving the candidate enough time to answer questions re-read and double-check each answer before submitting the exam paper. Candidates will get a short tutorial on how to use the computer before starting the examination. The CBT comprises 120 multiple-choice questions. All questions scored as correct or incorrect, and there is no partial credit.Source: https://nurseabroad.in/cbt-tests/#google_vignette If the exam is multiple choice, as the excerpt provided above suggests, and candidates are able to avail of mock papers which mirror the real thing beforehand, I can understand why some candidates finish in good time. Using finishing time as a yard stick seems rather unfair to me, if the same set of candidates went on to pass their OSCE exams on arrival in the UK. With an allegation like this - and given what is at stake for the individuals concerned - stronger evidence of foul play is required. 1 Like |

While I have no doubt that the allegation made probably holds true for some japarian-nurses, I am more circumspect about the round figure of 700 given. I hope al those who feel unduly maligned get themselves good legal representation. Some of you are into drug trafficking, internet fraud, robbery, cheating and abating, nepotism and you'll be all over the internet screaming as if you are a saint. 3 Likes 1 Share |

ChukwuObe: Try to read I am against anyone abusing !!! Try to read logically, and not emotionally. Tinubu, Atiku, Obi, those men don try, to get to these heights is remarkable. Whether they did it good or bad, they tried. I am a man trying to get to great heights, I learned one or two from them, Tinubu doggedness, Atiku relentless spirit, obi administrative and leadership prowess. I learn, I don’t criticize. I am not bound by political beliefs. Thank you 2 Likes 1 Share |

Of course. Someone will use street to pass an examination and carry themselves to a civilised place. When it’s time to write clinical observation notes for their patients, wahala. Anyway UK is equally at fault. They treat their nurses so badly that they’re forced to escape to Dubai. That’s when they have no other choice but to import 3rd rate QUACKS from “Niger-Area”. |

The evidence is being uncovered every day that NIGERIA is a SCAM. But I am glad the UK is the recipient of the SCAM because it's the reason that the country is in the quagmire it's in today. God, I hope more and more EVIL come upon the UK. You can NOT sow the seeds of discord and expect GOD's favor to be upon you. The UK will always have turmoil at its doorstep. This is just one facet of its problems. 1 Like 1 Share |

The NHS and people using fake certificates are like 5&6 Fake doctor who worked in NHS for 20 years found guilty of fraud Sending a forged certificate to the General Medical Council in 1995, Alemi claimed to have qualified at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/feb/15/fake-doctor-zholia-alemi-nhs-guilty-fraud A fraudulent doctor who worked in the NHS for 20 years has been convicted of a “deliberate and wicked deception” after forging a medical degree certificate and practising as a psychiatrist without the necessary qualifications. Zholia Alemi, who is believed to be 60, worked in hospitals across England, Wales and Scotland and received income and benefits of more than £1m across her career, Manchester crown court heard. On Wednesday, Alemi was found guilty of 13 counts of fraud, three counts of obtaining a pecuniary advantage by deception, two counts of forgery and two counts of using a false instrument. The judge Hilary Manley remanded Alemi into custody and told her she would face a prison term “of some substantial length” when she is sentenced at the same court on 28 February. She said the deception carried out against health authorities enabled Alemi to work with “potentially very vulnerable people over a long period of time”. The judge questioned how Alemi had been able to practise for as long as she had and in so many positions. Sending a forged certificate to the General Medical Council in 1995, Alemi claimed to have qualified at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. A forged letter of verification referred to “six years medical trainee with satisfactory grade”. Yet official records showed that she completed only the first stage of the degree and was stopped from re-enrolling after failing a number of years. The court was told that in the letter of verification, the word “verify” was spelled as “varify”. Between 1998 and 2017, Alemi worked at various health bodies and trusts, at times was employed by the NHS, and secured positions through recruitment or staffing agencies. Christopher Stables, prosecuting, told the jury that Alemi had worked with patients across “quite literally the length and breadth of the country”. He said: “A conservative estimate, and I stress a conservative estimate, as to the quantum – so the overall amount of money fraudulently obtained by the defendant from the NHS – is somewhere, the prosecution say, between £1m and £1.3m.” Over the four-week trial, the jury was told that Alemi had been convicted of three fraud offences at Carlisle crown court in 2018 after forging an 84-year-old woman’s will to make herself the beneficiary and forging powers of attorney. She was sentenced to five years in prison in that case and the GMC apologised for “inadequate” checks and “any risk arising to patients as a result”. Stables described Alemi as “a most accomplished forger and fraudster” who had “no qualification that would allow her to be called, or in any way to be properly regarded as, a doctor.” Janice Wild, of the Crown Prosecution Service, said confiscation proceedings would be pursued aiming to recover the criminal property from which Alemi has benefited. 1 Like |

naturefellow:You see, l am a Yoruba man. I supported Afenifere endorsement of Obi with the gunuity of their reasons. In fact, in defending Afenifere, front line Yoruba social cultural organization, in my Islamic group l belong for which l was hated, l wrote : " The 2015 and 2019 presidential election of Pa Adebanjo and co's endorsement DISOBEDIENCE IN RETROSPECT MOVED US FROM FRYING PAN TO FIRE; AND LIKELIHOOD OF ANOTHER DISOBEDIENCE WILL NOT LAND US IN FURNACE !" . The situation of things now make me a prophet? No. This is normal for injustice in power rotation in Nigeria. Having said this, I will not tolerate character assassination of Tinubu from Nnyamirin or anyone simply because Atiku or Obi in power now, we will be witnessing same thing because everything has gone bad before now due to CORRUPTION. |
