Digital Inclusion: Building Bridges, Not Barriers

Save the date: on Tuesday, March 5th from 4 pm to 7 pm we´ll be together again at the Community Space at LinkedIn in Dublin!

Our team from ThriveInclusion has a mission of promoting equal opportunities to everyone through technology, by the conscientisation of organizations and communities.

For this free-entry discussion, we bring the theme of “Digital Inclusion: Building Bridges, Not Barriers”.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn with those who have been promoting financial independence, technological innovations and education.

What Can You Expect:

Host: Alan Doherty

Lecturer in Innovation for the MSc Insights & Innovation at DCU Business School. Founder of Novara Labs, a fintech about sustainability and finance innovations. Ex-head of Innovation Design at Citi Bank. Alan Doherty will be the glue that puts everyone together during our event!

1. Keynote Topic: "Digital Inclusion: Building Bridges, Not Barriers" (4:10 PM - 4:40 PM)

A focused keynote speech highlighting the importance of digital inclusion, followed by a quick interactive Q&A session.

Who's Talking: Joe Wilde

An experienced digital leader with over 20+ years of industry experience. Joe has extensive experience in Marketing (both digital and traditional), Education, and Business Development. Joe has worked across various organisations implementing Marketing, CX, Communications and eCommerce projects for SMEs, the Government of Ireland and various brands, including Diageo, Heineken, Pfizer and Shannon Heritage, to name a few.

Joe is an adjunct professor at Trinity Business School and is a subject matter expert, corporate educator and consultant for the Digital Marketing Institute.

2. Panel Discussion: "Every Click Counts: Personal Journeys to Digital Empowerment" (4:45 PM - 5:30 PM)

A lively panel discussion with diverse voices sharing their experiences and insights on digital empowerment.

Who´s Talking:


Prag Sharma,

One of only 10 Citi Tech Fellows globally, he is a resident expert in Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning (AI/ML) across the organisation. Prag Sharma leads Citi's Global Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence (AI CoE). As such, Prag has led the development of Citi-wide best practices from a Governance, Risk & Controls and Technology perspective in AI, addressed AI-related infrastructure and tooling needs across the organisation and enabled state-of-the-art AI design, development and use at Citi across all its businesses. Prag represents Citi externally and has led numerous high-profile engagements with clients, global regulators, trade bodies, regional/ other advisory committees and external experts in the world of AI. Prag has led R&grin teams and technology consultants in both industry and academia for over 15 years, working on emerging technologies with start-ups and multinationals in the Financial Services, Health, Technology and Pharmaceutical sectors. He also co-founded two start-ups in his previous life. Prag holds a PhD in Machine Learning (Computer Vision) and an MBA, majoring in Innovation.



Roseline Adediran, fluent in Intelligent Automation & Analytics. She has over 6 years of experience in architecting and developing solutions with banks such as TD and AIB, and graduated with First Class Honours.



Naomh McElhatton is an award-winning seasoned entrepreneur, speaker, and mentor, renowned for her female leadership in the technology and digital education sectors. She is CEO & Co-Founder of dara & co, an eLearning platform that is uniquely dedicated to the human experience, to change the conversation in the world of relationships.

In addition to her role at dara & co, Naomh is a recognised thought leader through her work as a STEM Ambassador and is the Entrepreneurial Lead for Women in AI Ireland, who are passionate about AI that champions diversity and inclusion. Naomh also contributes her expertise as a Board Member at Queens University Belfast (Students Union).


Camilla Odilon,is a B2B marketing lead generation strategist with over 8 years' experience in digital marketing. Camilla isn't just about driving results; she's passionate about empowering the next generation of marketers.

As a mentor, university professor and founder of the Marketing In Ireland community, she's dedicated to supporting fellow immigrants navigating the Irish marketing scene. With a background in Data Science applied to marketing and self-taught Python skills, she advocates for the fusion of marketing and data analysis.

Outside the office, you'll find her tearing up the dance floor or exploring the stunning Irish countryside. Need advice or just fancy a chat? Invite her for a coffee and a hike in the Dublin mountains – she's always up for it!

Moderator: Opeyemi Olomo

Director at Citi and ex-vice president of Renaissance Capital. Passionate about innovation, corporate venturing, product development, and anything related to emerging techs like Digital Assets, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence for finance services, e-commerce, corporate businesses and banks. He is also very active in diversity, inclusion and charitable activities.

3. Break and Informal Networking (5:30 PM - 5:45 PM)For you to refresh and engage in meeting like-minded people

4. Idea Exchange Café (5:45 PM - 6:45 PM)

Everyone will be encouraged to split into groups to brainstorm actionable ideas inspired by the day's discussions. Then each group presents their idea in a concise format.
