michlins: Difficulties and challenges reveal who we are faster than ten years of abundant blessings. If you poke a dog and it grunts like a pig - then a pig it is. Wise people always discount short term noise. Were conditions ideal for paystack or flutterwave? Did they grunt? No. When conditions are contrary look for the variables you can adjust to shift the battlefield. Shouting and complaining does nothing. 1 Like |

BreconHills:if you have access to the top, let them make life less stressful for the masses. People can barely afford to eat. The disparity between the rich and the poor is too wide |
Re: ‘2Africa’ Subsea Cable In Lagos By Bayobab & MTN by BreconHills(m): 11:41pm On Feb 22 |
michlins: Disparity existed in Nigeria before the commencement of the first republic. Social unequality is also a global norm outside of the Nordic countries. 54m households in the UK exist solely on government support. The issue is the infrastructure and housing gap and not income disparity. These deficits have been accumulating since 1958. Population surge following of 1970's Udoji salary award and widening population distribution in favour of cities post civil war have exacerbated the problem. Government has failed serially but in certain areas eg social mobility Nigeria has improved over the years. |

FreeStuffsNG: Triumphalism will get you nowhere!! The same cable will land elsewhere in Nigeria, either directly or via the lagos landing point! Instead of blabbing of lagos all day go and suggest to sanwa olu how to clean up lagos! The whole city is just like a second rate regional African city.........see Abidjan and Accra for inspiration !! |

Validated:How is this not another means of deepening capital flight? They invest it here, make the money here, and then run away to South Africa with it. Capital flight is done by people with a different mind which must be controlled by the government in a sane economy. |

BreconHills:while disparity is everywhere, the one in Nigeria is terrible. Government is telling the masses to tighten their belts while losing theirs to accommodate the immense wealth they are embezzling. In places like UK you mentioned, basic infrastructure are readily available. Light, security, water and education. At least even if you don't have today, you can get tomorrow because of the instruments government have dropped. Honestly, it's extremely difficult especially now with the hyperinflation. Staple foods like rice and beans are now turning luxury |

People like you doesn't have anything talk more something to offer and only seek relevance through sycophancy. I am sure that Ebin is wiring you and yet you are forming nonsense on nairaland. See you, see foreigners. |

But the circumference of the earth is just 40,000km. I think this 45,000km is exaggerated. They should update their statistics. |

blowjohn: Wetin this one dey talk ? We are talking about broadband data, you talking another thing, what matters in a data service is speed and bandwidth, we are moving into web 3 and metaverse, AI and IOT, all these technologies will need more bandwidth. This is a welcome development. Nigeria will be great again. A lot of people just complain everyday in this country, A country where every challenge is a road to profitable enterprise. It is left for lazyminds to stop coming to Nairaland, to complain instead of thinking outside the box. It is not easy to be a leader, but some people just think it is 2+2, giving advice to government, it is easier said than done. Keep your advice to yourself. And let the sailor steer the ship. Good day. |
