No government can stop crypto, you can only regulate it to the benefits of your people.
Re: Binance, Others Face Billions In Fines By SEC Over Currency Manipulations by Bmaster(m): 8:58am On Mar 01
this is a beer parlor gist.
Not until I see an official statement from binance.

Meanwhile, why are we trying to make binance the scapegoat here ?
There are many exchanges all over the world that allows p-2-p transactions of usdt/NGN.

Why the clinch on only binance ?

Looking at the USDT/Naira 1 week chart , the naira seems to be retesting previous resistance of around 1200 to 1300. Usually after it's test it will want to reclaim previous high . I really hope it doesn't go back to previous high but what I am saying is that we should not rejoice yet on the fall, it may just be a retest for a higher high.

Very easy, just buy other crypto like btc, eth, ltc, etc and convert to usdt unless they want to ban crypto entirely, they should just do so lets hear word. Pulling stats up their ass and chasing shadows as usual when the real culprits and stashing billions of dollars in their homes without doing anything to them.

if they want a stable forex, let them sell fx to banks and bdc at certain price and instruct them not to sell to customers above say 1% of buying price, with that, it will stabilise. That’s technically pegging but there is no other short term option.

Does the Fg and Sec have solid evidence
for their accusations against Binance or they just want to follow the footsteps of U.S because they heard U.S fined them for currency manipulation

Lol the efcc should give Nigerians a detailed report om the amount of money embezzled in dollars by our politicians for the past 7years let us compare it to the supposed 26 billion binance allowed through their platform. Government would always blame every one and everything but themselves. Pathetic

Binance, Others Face Billions of Dollars in Fines By SEC Over Alleged Currency Manipulations

Propaganda will not help Tinubu's government.

Ask Tinubu and Cardoso to explain to Nigerians why customs is charging Nigerians in dollars for their services.

Also ask Tinubu and Cardoso to explain why crude oil and gas for cooking is being sold in Nigeria in dollars to companies in Nigeria.

Ask Tinubu and Cardoso to explain why they created a market for dollars in the Nigerian economy where naira is the official currency and also ask Tinubu and Cardoso to explain where they expect business men and women to get the dollars to do their transactions since Tinubu and Cardoso keep dishing out propaganda that there's no dollars to pay debtors (forward contracts).

Tinubu's advisors should be careful not to drag Nigeria into international court of arbitration where Nigeria will be forced to pay billions of dollars in settlement for violating international laws.

Tinubu and Cardoso should stop chasing shadows

Modified

Please ask Tinubu and Cardoso to explain why Tinubu advised Buhari to print over 2 trillion naira in ways and means without any production activities and export activities to account for such humongous amount and how that has affected the value of the Naira.

Also ask Tinubu and Cardoso to explain who and who got credit alerts out of the 2 trillion naira printed

The best way to defend is to attack. The naira need to attack, and stop defending from the dollar. Without production and value added services tied to the naira. It will keeps defending, and the water (dollar) will always finds its level and also keeps prevailing.

The joy that I am feeling now can't be described. Though I am a crypto enthusiast, binance cannot come and abuse our intelligence like that by hiking and speculating the dollar price at the detriment of the Naira

Good day Nairalanders,

On the 16th of this month, I created this thread about First Bank criminality of stealing 18k from my account

https://www.nairaland.com/8002695/please-how-recover-money-first

Currently, i have been admitted to the psychiatric hospital because of this bank and the emotional stress they put me thru.

I was acting irrationally and abnormally which my family noticed and had to rush me to the hospital.

Let it be known that if anything happens to me, First Bank MUST be held responsible.

Thanks and God bless

They detained people without trial and seized their passports. Foreigners including an American citizen? After you invited them and you want to attract foreign investment. Lol. There will be consequences.

And yet we have foreigners looting and mining our gold and other minerals with police escort.

A Government of Bandits!

Did Binance print 23 Trillion ways and means?

Did Binance rent an aircraft, slap on a fake logo and say it was Nigeria Air?

Or was it Binance that emptied the treasury?

Maybe Binance turned a recharge card seller into a Dollar Billionaire in 8 years?

APC members who facilitated the heists above are sitting free but we are heaping it on Binance.
