African Games 2023: Flying Eagles Pip South Sudan To Get Campaign Back On Track

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles beat South Sudan 1-0 in their second Group B game of the 13 African Games in Accra, Ghana, on Monday.

The Flying Eagles went into the game on the back of a 2-1 loss to Uganda.

Sadiq Isiyaka was the hero for the Flying Eagles as his second half penalty kick was enough to secure the win.

They Flying Eagles will take on Senegal in their final group game on Friday.

The Senegalese lost 1-0 to Uganda in their second Group B fixture on Monday.

Following the win, Uganda have booked their place into the semi-finals of the men’s football event.

A draw should be enough for Ladan Bosso men against Senegal to pick a semifinal ticket.

African Games 2023: Falconets Thrash Senegal To Reach Semi-finals

Nigeria’s Falconets thrashed Senegal 4-0 in their second Group B game in the football event of the African Games 2023 on Monday night.

The win means the Falconets have progressed into the semi-finals.

The Christopher Danjuma-led side have now won back-to-Jack group games.

In their first group game of the competition the Nigerian U-20 women’s team beat Morocco 2-0.

Loveth Edeh gave the Falcons the lead in the 13th minute before Motunrayo Ezekiel added the second on 50 minutes.

An own goal by a Senegalese player on 51 minutes made it 3-0 before Chioma Olise added the fourth on 80 minutes.

Who carry this team give this gworo chewing aboki (Ladan Bossom) again, he's had so many tries and failed severally; surely he has very powerful godfathers up there in the NFF and presidency as there's no better explanation as to why he keeps getting the job ahead of better qualified coaches all around undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

I don't know what's wrong with the organisers. Some of the men's and women's matches are at the same time and even when they are not at the same time, the Ghanaians do not show the women's matches.

Very poor hosting from Ghana, only to make mouth

The light they are bragging with there was 10 minutes power out at the stadium when Ghana and Ethiopia women match was going on o,

Ghana athletes are complaining of using their own old training equipments for the competition the ones that got new equipments said they got a mismatch.
