Is Haaland overhyped??!

Have you seen Haaland shine without exceptionally gifted and unselfish midfielders and wingers??! NEVER!!!

At Dortmund, Sancho practically gifted Haaland half of the goals he scored that season... At Man City, without those players like Debruyne, Silva, Foden, etc, stepping up, nothing for the Norwegian.

That's the difference between box-to-box strikers like Haaland and Osimhen, and deep playmaking strikers like Mbappe... The latter will literally break up play, take the ball from the midfield, and outrun opponents to score... Haaland and Osimhen are not cut out like that.

Understand how football works.

That's the difference between Ronaldo and Messi too.

No box-to-box striker like Lukaku would have shone in that Super Eagles setup... Even legends like Amuneke and Yekini would have flopped badly in Peseiro's team setup.


If you want the best out of those guys, you have to ensure your midfield and wings come correct and service them fully... If you are demanding a Messi or Mbappe out of them, then you don't know what you're doing as a coach.

Osimhen should better make improvements for his own sake. If he wants to write his name in gold, he should start realizing that African Best Player award is not the limit for him.
