Lol πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ make all the list u want street know who controls the economy na

One day all the ports would be equal, we would be allowed to import any goods and services from any port we want

Take pharmaceutical industries for example... Igbos owns 60% of the top 30 pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria... But must use Apapa and international airport Lagos to import raw materials... That's one industry

Chemical industry is same can only come in through Lagos

Electrical.. Same

Fabric same

Stock fish same

Garments same

Metals same

Ceramic same

But it's alright we no shake we are igbos we no dey run

This list once again proofs the fact that Nigeria needs to break up. Lagos is Yoruba land and nature has favoured the Yoruba for Lagos to have been the country's capital for 70 long years. Lagos (and to some extent, Abuja) will always overshadow other states in the country in becoming first choice destinations for the largest indigenous, foreign and multinational businesses.
If the Igbos had gotten Biafra in 1967, most of the companies in this list will have their headquarters in Enugu with Igbo people as CEOs and GMDs. All these big banks that have hundreds of branches in the East would have built their headquarters in Enugu to continue to render their services in Biafra. As we speak, Shell's headquarter in Nigeria is in Lagos but they are building the largest gas plant in Imo. If Imo state was in Biafra, Shell would also have to build a new headquarter either in Imo or Enugu and will employ lots of Igbos into critical management positions. So I say congratulations to Lagos for being favoured by nature. If Port Harcourt was the capital of Nigeria for 70 years, nobody for sabi Lagos today.

If you are not scared you won't be scrambling for self reassuring lies.

Jim okechukwu ovia and Tony Ogechukwu Elumelu are from a tribe called Delta, while Herbert Onyewumbu wigwe is from a tribe called Rivers.

You can fill the list with your feather weight businesses without networth, when it's time we will know who run things.

There is nothing like Nkwere tribe in Rivers state. So why didn't you write Urhobo for Jim Ovia and Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu and Nkwere for Wigwe?

Talk is cheap.
Where is your evidence.
Clustering in a space doesn't mean that you have much to do with the economy.
Igbos,Hausas,Igalas,Binis etc all contribute to Lagos economy but the greatest contributors are the Yorubas.
In small and medium scale businesses,Yorubas control all building materials,,,,Iron rods, steel, planks, woods, blocks, corrugated sheets, paint, windows, aluminium, doors, cement, sand etc.....sector,sea foods sector, fuel sector and petrol stations sectors, new and fairly used vehicles sector etc.

Yorubas dominate media...tv,radio,news tabloids,education..universities,colleges etc.
They control real estates which is a billionaire field sector.

Yorubas dominate ICT....Glo,Mainone,Esusu,Calendly,digital bananas etc.

Yorubas dominate law,medicine,engineering etc.

Yorubas dominate industries...Bigi,Honeywell,Vitafoam,Tejufoam,Flour Mills (large shares),Doyin group ETC.

The list is almost endless when you look at the Arts,Music,Movies,Fashion etc.

State their values make we compare, sir.
Value of a business is different from its revenue.
Revenue is key.
But wait!
So the South Easterners are really down there even in Lagos where they have most of their economic power.

So tell me the general accepted language in all the States in South south region of Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬.

Lol..

From Igbos own almost entire Lagos to Igbos only control small and medium scales business?

There’s no section of any form of business Igbos are controlling in Lagos or any part of SW. From small scale to medium scale to large scale. You people are just all about chest beating with very small value..

There's no business Igbos are doing that other Nigeria tribes are not doing - Car part sales, Phones, Chargers & phones cases, machine parts, etc..

The only different is just that 5 Igbos can be using 1 shop. Let me use computer village as a case study:

For computer village, you'll be seeing 7 Igbos running business in a single shop. By the time you walk pass 3 shops own by Igbos, you'll be seeing more than 15people. This doesn't translate to that they're the largest seller in computer village or anything. The biggest sellers and money makers in computer village are not even Igbos. You can visit there to prove me right or wrong..

Your problem is that you dream too much.
If you were given Biafra, what will you do?
You were given regionalism, what did you do?You were still backward.
I don't want to be harsh, but what will you do differently.

Even abroad, you are still doing very badly in business.
It is only the Yorubas that are flying the Nigerian flag in business abroad.

You could have posted top 10 companies controlling the Lagos economy because just 3 companies onwed by delta igbos will swallow up all the companies owned by yorubas in asset base, revenue, capital base.

UBA, Zenith, Access Bank is all worth more than all yoruba owned companies.

I saw tantalizer that has been making losses for 4 years back to back or is it mama Cass that can't operate its ikeja outlet or is it sweet sensation whose hq falls short of an abandoned warehouse

I didn't see much of shoprite, addassmall, home affairs etc
