New Tariff: Full list of Port Harcourt Electricity ‘Band A’ areas

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, on Wednesday, approved a sharp increase in electricity tariffs for customers classified under Band A. Some customers of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHEDC, will be affected by the new electricity tariff.

Customers in this category will now be charged N225 per kilowatt-hour (KW/h). It is a significant rise from the previous rate of N66 electricity tariff.

Below are the Band A areas of PHEDC, affected by the new tariff:

This must be a joke. So PHED will claim that they are giving these areas 20 hrs light daily. Why can't somebody just gather evidence and Sue the hell out of these thieves.

Pls don't get it wrong. The bans A is not an area thing. It's a Line thing. In a particular area, u may have more than one line. Line here means a high tension line. So it depends on which line ur transformer is been fed from.
