Please what is with a particular region and brown rusty roof? Is it as a result of acid rain or cultural heritage ?

It is as a result of early contact with civilization.

Bro there's a thing called civilization, imagine someone fetching rain runoff from those zinc for consumption. I guess the sickness that follows suit is also part of the heritage

Oxymoron is 'fetching rain runoff' and 'civilization' in the same statement. But of course you were trying to make a point, modern man from the cosmopolitan region.

Any one hyping this man is a colossal failure.Try to interview people from Ibadan and see how they disapprove this man. All these are propaganda. Oyo state is one of the worst state in Nigeria.Olodo bridge is still pending after almost three years. Yet, I saw how they package the pictures on social media, while citizens are suffering and crying every day. Many people left the house they built themselves to a rental apartment to avoid losing their jobs. Imagine when you and your family moved from 3 bedroom apartment to one room with shared toilets. Our governor is an engineer but knew nothing about project management and how critical some could be. Every construction works have been there for decades and don't be surprise if it takes more than two years to have the structures in those pictures. Even though he build churches and mosques for political gain because our people are bewitched with religion and in truth salary are paid to time. But what of other things, all recreation centers like trans amusement park which the governor himself grow to know were sold to partners in crime or allies in the name of developers. How many sustainable jobs were created ?What is the quality of education, if not for schools like Loyola college with great Alumni. The same question goes to health, all health centers are shadow of themselves, when Government pump money for some cabal to embezzle. The circular road that should be a blessing have render many homeless and sent many to early grave because all they worked for in their life time was the structure demolished by this man who never remembered where he started from as a boy in a room and parlour. I am an advocate of truth and not only Makinde but all our political leaders, the wrath of God is coming and it is only a function of time. Leaders who rule to steal the wealth of the nation.

This is misinformation at its peak. Even Seyi Makinde as an honourable person will deny this. Not a pinch of Oyo state's money is in that project. It's purely World bank project.

They have boreholes and wells to get water from as Ibadan is not Enugu where they rely on rain water 🌊 to live.

Let me also let you know that those area had reigned in the early 60s and 70s when only Zinc roofing sheet was available, unlike now that we have all types and styles. Most of these building are now family houses as the real owners have gone to their maker and they are rented out. You know how properties that belongs to everyone but belongs to no one is not really cared for.

Also, in the west, it's not only the super rich that is allowed to build, those who can only afford Zinc roof to cover their properties can not be denied the right to shelter because you want the city to look modern. I hope you know that.

But, I believe you know all these, you just want to be funny and place a label that is not sticking.

that "brown rusty roofs shows that that particular region" have been using roofing sheets since when your great-grandfathers were using palm fronds to cover their bodies.

That's a big lie
Ibadan has it ancient part, modern part and very modern part likewise most south Western cities. Infact ibadan is one of the city with the highest number of modern estate in Nigeria.
Due to the hatred some of you guy have towards the Yorubas, when the media post the ancient part of south Western cities you guys will be so quick to type all such of rubbish about the Yorubas

Watch this video and clear yourself from ignorance

What you posted is still rustic. Most Nigerian cities are rustic but Southeast has that culture of demolishing and rebuilding old structures which is why most Southeasterners get surprised on the state of houses when they visit Southwest who'd rather build outside than demolish old structure except when extremely necessary.

This is not correct, the road connect to apata, from Apata straight to omi adio and from omi adio straight to Abeokuta. This road doesn't have anything to do with ijebu ode. It is far from it.
