I never abandoned my argument in the first place..

The family will never will a law case a against the company because it will set a bad precedent..

They should eventually accept the issuance claims and settlements

Just go back to saying that "money will not bring back their relative" because you have no point. The goal is to force the helicopter company to settle at much higher compensation and implement more safety procedures to prevent future deaths. Here are just 5 examples:

Kobe Bryant Helicopter Crash Settlement (2021): Vanessa Bryant, the widow of basketball star Kobe Bryant, reached a confidential settlement in a wrongful death lawsuit against Island Express Helicopters and the estate of the pilot involved in the January 2020 crash that killed Kobe Bryant, their daughter Gianna, and seven others.

Sikorsky S-76B Crash Settlement (2004): After a Sikorsky S-76B helicopter crashed into the Baltic Sea in 2004, killing all on board, a series of lawsuits were filed. Although the crash occurred outside the USA, the legal battles involved Sikorsky, a U.S. company. The settlements were confidential, and Sikorsky implemented changes following the incident.

Grand Canyon Helicopter Crash Settlements (2018): After a fatal crash in February 2018 involving a sightseeing helicopter operated by Papillon Airways, which resulted in multiple deaths and injuries, lawsuits were filed by survivors and families of the deceased. The outcomes of these lawsuits are not publicly detailed, but they led to significant attention on the safety of helicopter tours in the area.

Era Helicopters LLC Settlement (2010): After a crash in Louisiana in 2009 that killed eight people due to a failed component, the families of the victims filed lawsuits against Era Helicopters and the component manufacturer. The settlements were confidential, but the case highlighted issues with helicopter component safety.

Settlement in Pennsylvania National Guard Helicopter Crash (2012): The family of a National Guard pilot who died in a 2012 helicopter crash due to a malfunction reached a settlement with the manufacturers. The details of the settlement were not disclosed, but the lawsuit emphasized the importance of maintenance and component reliability in military helicopters.

Just say something that even a child knows as your rebuttal. grin
