Those saying they have the right to choose who to service should note that it was also alleged that the owner fled the place with her family when the issue started getting attention. People are believing that there's more to the venues than just supermarket.

But its ok when we discriminate against ourselves in the name of tribalism, right?

I have read a few comments like this on the two previous threads about this same issue.

Why are some of you so annoyingly senseless?!
Such disgustingly senseless question!!

So if we discrimate against ourselves, that makes it OK for another country to discrimate against us?

It's horrible enough that we discrimate against ourselves, and worse if another country does same to us.

Two wrongs can never make a right!!!

I did not say Yorubas are tribalistic, I said tribalism is worse than racism.

Both Yorubas and Igbos are tribalistic and this tribalism is at all levels

Well, it seems u re talking about general issue entirely and not particularly about how yorubas are tribalistic against igbos in the election as u used to say in the past.

Well, inasmuch as I can't rule out ur claim entirely, I would still say not every Nigerians are tribalistic, some don't even know it exist

What you actually have is a jungle!

A proactive government would properly investigate and gather evidence and seek a court order to shut them down. But since Nigeria does not follow its laws, we just swoop in!

What if this company contests the allegations and is found to not be guilty in court? Would Nigeria not have to compensate them for loss of earnings?

This, alone, is enough to make one suspect they don't ban Nigerians.

Have you ever left the the four walls of Nigeria? China, Japan and South Korea do shutdown clubs for hosting exclusive parties, where citizens of the countries are not allowed entry! Sue what! You don't even know how the law works , Nigeria is a sovereign country and has the right to close down anything that discriminates her citizens! If they dare take Nigeria to the international court they'll lose outrightly because that's literally Racial discrimination

Nice picture. I hope you now know the difference between PROACTIVE & REACTIVE.

If after you read the meaning from your dictionary as per the picture you sent to me and you still don't know that I WAS RIGHT then your foolishness and poor comprehension skill will never be remedied.

You're just acting half clever. FCCPC can Conduct independent investigation and shut any business without court order. The act mandating FCCPC empower them to do that. Do you even know if they have a court order obtained? We should speak truth when seen.

A supermarket registered in Nigeria, supposedly paying taxes in Nigeria, having Nigerians work as security, but being racist in services. They can legally be shut down by government. This is government, not random people taking laws in their hands.

And people like you would be among the people who saw nothing bad in it. Now, you're still wailing. Closing down the place is the first step because if you don't do immediately, the outcry will still continue. Closing down the place doesn't stop investigation.

And you are still defending your statement. Read yourself! Do you honestly feel that you have made any sense?

Did you intentionally ignore the part where I clearly wrote "Two wrongs can never make a right"?

By your defense, it's OK for foreigners to subject us to such treatments just because we do not respect ourselves, right?

The federal government should be congratulated for its swift reaction in closing down the attempt by Chinese immigrants in Nigeria to create their sneaky and incremental version of a neo-Apartheid system whereby Nigerians can be excluded whimsically from any Chinese-owned establishments located in Nigeria.

No person from China is living in Nigeria out of love for Nigerians or any black human beings. The Chinese are swarming to Nigeria, Ghana, Eritrea, DRC, and other black African countries to plunder natural resources and ALSO to buy land where they can create their own "Greater China" that will ultimately be off-limits to native black Africans, except in the capacity of indentured slave laborers, right now during the year of 2024 in modern-day "enlightened" Africa.

The denial of access to that Chinese supermarket is the tip of the sword and a TEST to evaluate the Nigerian leadership's awareness of how the gradual but systematic process of neo-colonialism works in practical terms. If the Nigerian government had NOT responded decisively to this instance of attempted Chinese Apartheid by closing that Chinese shop in Abuja, the practice of barring Africans from establishments created by Chinese immigrants to Africa would have proliferated until it became the new ugly norm that is accepted with bitter resignation by the indigenous Nigerian populace reduced in social status to third-class citizens under de-facto rule by Communist Red China, right there in Nigeria.

The Nigerian government deserves praise for quickly spotting this brazen act of racist hate by Chinese immigrants in Nigeria, and this prompt action by the government will serve sobering notice to other Chinese immigrants who are eager to debar all Nigerians except for their underpaid workforce from their factories and residential estates, that Nigeria is NOT Eritrea where a Chinese military base has been created to keep the black native savages in check under their new colonial masters, the Red Chinese Communist Party.

The Chinese people's visa into Nigeria should be reviewed and they should be barred from entering Nigeria.

This has nothing to do with the politicians in power. It's a regulatory function and would proceed likewise under any Government. Indeed the FCCPC has been acting in this manner since inception.
