Do you drink coke? Then check this out.
What do you think about this?

I do drink coke, in fact I do not take anything alcoholic not only because of my religion belief but because it causes "Cirrhosis of ths liver" i.e inflammation of the liver.

Now coke or pepsi(soft drinks)are  also injurious to health.
According to a medical journal, if man eats, the cells tend to die gradually and if you refuse to eat you cause more damage, the cells also die. They even argued that certain meats are not good for consumption despite their being advantageous to the body in a way such is snail.

What do you think about this? How then can we live long?

SEVEN DANGERS OF COKE & PEPSI (SOFT DRINKS)

For those of you who LOVE Coke/Pepsi. Just when you thought you knew everything.

1) To clean a toilet:

Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl.
Let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean.
The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
No scrubbing, no sweat - guaranteed.

2) To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers:

Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of aluminum foils dipped in Coca-Cola.
Much economical than the stuff from Smart Shop.

3) To clean corrosion from car battery terminals;

Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.

4) To loosen a rusted bolt;

Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

5) To remove grease from clothes;

Empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle.
6) The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

Hey, what do we have here?

The world's first soft drink disguise as a multi-purpose cleaner? Or should it be a multi-purpose cleaner disguise as a soft drink!!!

Besides that, If you pour Coke (yes, the soda) on a slab of pork, wait a little while, you will SEE WORMS crawl out of it.

AND WE DRINK THIS STUFF! Coke & Pepsi ALARMING FACTS!!!

The average pH of soft drinks, e.g. Coke, Pepsi is pH 3.4. This acidity is strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones! Our human body stops building bones at around the age of 30. After that it'll be dissolving about 8-18% of the bones each year through the urine, depending on the acidity of the food intake (acidity does not depend on the taste of the food, but on the ratio of potassium / calcium / magnesium / etc. to phosphorus).

All the dissolved calcium compounds accumulate in the arteries, veins, skin tissue, and organs. This affects the functioning of the kidney (kidney stones). Soft drinks do not have any nutritional value (in terms of vitamins and minerals). They have higher sugar content, higher acidity, and more additives such as preservatives and colourings.

Some people like to take cold soft drinks after each meal, guess what's the impact? Our body has an optimum temperature of 37 degrees for the functioning of digestive enzymes. The temperature of cold soft drinks is much less than 37, sometimes quite close to 0. This will lower the effectiveness of the enzymes and put stress on the digestive system, digesting less food. In fact the food gets fermented. The fermented food produce bad smelling gases, decays and forms toxins, which are absorbed in the intestines, get circulated in the blood and is delivered to the whole body. This spread of toxins can lead to the development of various diseases. Think before you drink Coke or Pepsi or any another soft drinks.

Have you ever thought what you drink when you drink an aerated drink? You gulp down carbon dioxide, something that no sane person in the world would advise you to do. Few months ago, there was a competition in Delhi University "Who can drink the most Coke?". The winner drank 8 bottles and died on the spot because too much carbon dioxide in the blood and not enough oxygen. From then on, the principal banned all soft drinks from the university canteen.

Someone put a broken tooth in a bottle of Pepsi and in 10 days it is dissolved! Teeth and bones are the only human organs that stay intact for years after death. Imagine what the drink must be doing to your delicate soft intestines and stomach lining! To all COKE / PEPSI LOVERS, think again the next time before you say " CHUP

Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by jogego(m): 3:59pm On Jul 12, 2005
So what about all the acid in your digestive tract? How do you think food gets broken down into molecules which can be absorbed by the human body? Stuff and nonsense. THis is just another urban legend. I've come accross it years ago and i take it with a pinch o salt

I'm wondering, this is still the joke forum, right or I'm in the wrong one...smiley
Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by Greatpeter(m): 12:17pm On Jul 13, 2005
Well you might call it a joke but try out those things mentioned above with coke and see results then that may send down the message deep enough.
Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by medube(m): 12:29pm On Jul 13, 2005
Greatpeter, I was asking if this was a joke, because we are in the joke forum and your write up sounded nothing like a joke. If Im not mistaken, a joke makes one laugh and not worry or cry like your write up is meant to do to coke or pepsi drinkers
Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by Greatpeter(m): 12:37pm On Jul 13, 2005
Oh sorry Medube it's not a joke.
I don't know why moderator decided to put it in joke column.

But you try out those things with coke and see results.
Thanks for the enquiry.

Greatpeter:

Not that these are not the only ignorant things in your post. . . but they do stand out.

Are you really that silly to think that drinking cold soda slows down your digestive system enough to do damage. That would mean that drinking ice cold water would have the same effect. So, please mr. man. . .what should we drink. we cannot drink sodas or water for the same reason.

Nobody gulps down carbon dioxide alone. . unless of course they have their mouth taped to a pipe coming from the exhaust of their car and their noses held shut. Barring that case. . . unless you don't allow a person to breath the entire time they are drinking soda, and force them not to breath for a few minutes afterwards, there is NO damage whatsoever to their body from the carbon dioxide. Hell man, your body builds up just as much from you holding your breath. So, even if they didn't drink the soda, you would hurt the person as much by making them hold their breath for 4 minutes.

I know that you are not as silly as whoever made up those facts and are just passing it along or maybe its a joke. . . i can't really tell.

Reminds me of the urban legend. Somebody did a study on a dangerous chemical called dihydrogen monoxide. Yes, it is a real chemical. They found that over ingestion of it caused death. When a lot of it was in the ground, it triggered mudslides which crushed houses and lots of other damage. Its main components are the same as other deadly chemicals, such as ozone (yes, ozone will actually kill you - look it up if you don't believe me). So, the council which had comissioned the study voted to ban dihyrogen monoxide. , yes. . . H2O - otherwise known as water. You can imagine how many people who were happy to point out the stupidity of the council's decision . . . in a similar manner as I'm pointing out those in your posts.

so what coke is multi tasking don't make it sound like such a bad thing, i know it's not good for the teeth or bones but that depends on the constant amount taken in. shocked

Greatpeter pls make sure this post is also up in the health forum. i know u know better and we needed this info. but this still remains the joke forum.
Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by allonym: 6:37am On Jun 26, 2006
eh. . . that's because this is a joke.

you know, like the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide - which has killed over 5,000 people this year alone (and this is a fact).
Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by sl12345: 7:07pm On Jul 12, 2006
I read somewhere else that if you put a T-Bone steak in a bowl of Coke, it'll be gone in a couple days.  I tried this, and IT IS TRUE.  I also tried the thing about loosening a bolt, and it worked also.

It's the phosphoric acid, yes, but also, there are about 15,000 ingredients that all commercial products are not required to identify in the ingredient list, so who knows what kind of sh*t is floating around in there.  Maybe this explains why Coke and generic colas appear to have the exact same ingredients, yet they taste completely different.

To the person who asked why we're still alive after all these years of drinking Coke : our bodies apparently have amazing healing and rejuvenating powers.  A piece of steak or a slab of pork is dead tissue, that's why it's able to easily dissolve.  But our body is living, living tissues, and our liver, which manages to carry out much of the toxins.  BUT, look at how much the rate and severity of all the diseases has gone up over the years (particularly, in this case, osteoporosis and diabetes).  And I'm sure Coke and other soft drinks are not solely responsible for this, but Americans do consume more soft drinks and junk food, and take more medications, than they did decades ago.  So, even though it won't kill you instantly, it will f*** you up.

Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by ladex142(m): 6:20pm On Jul 18, 2006
do you guys watch myth-busters ? smiley
Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by sl12345: 2:19am On Jul 19, 2006
If myth-busters is sponspored by Coke or any other soda company, or any company for that matter whose 'myths' they're trying to 'bust', then of course it is going to provide false evidence. Think about it, if you were paid massive amounts of money by someone, you wouldn't rat on them. Watch myth-busters and next time pay attention to the commercials - not just during myth-busters but during any show on that same channel (Discovery, right?). If there are any Coke or soft drink commercials, you can pretty much bet that they're going to bust this myth.
Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by ladex142(m): 2:49am On Jul 19, 2006
well, as far as i know myth-buster is a show that is based on practicalization. So are you saying that what we dey see with our own korokoro eye no true ?

Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by Mystique(f): 6:41pm On Jul 21, 2006
Lets keep the jokes funny please cool
Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by sl12345: 8:03pm On Jul 21, 2006
I'm saying that networks and shows on tv make their money from the commercials on that channel. If one of those commercials happens to be Coke, then it's likely that myth-busters, a show on a network that is getting paid by Coke, isn't going to make Coke look bad. It happens, everywhere.
Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by sl12345: 8:16pm On Jul 21, 2006
One more thing, I don't know what myth-busters did to 'bust' the 'myth' about Coke, but like I said, I've tried a few of those things and they did indeed happen. So there's proof right there that myth-busters is deceptive. Go ahead, try some of those things yourself and see. If you don't want to use a slab of meat, get a tooth or chicken bone or something, leave it in the Coke for a few days, it will be gone. This is just fact. So, looks like the real myth here is myth-busters, eh? I'd like to see them get busted.

I can understand why people wouldn't want to believe that Coke and other sodas are so harmful, or that shows on TV that are supposed to be real and trusted are lying to you. Coke's been around forever, people love it, it's addicting. And we're supposed to take what we see on TV as fact, right. Well, don't. Even most of the news is just lies. I'm not just saying this as my opinion. I know these things because I have been right there involved in them.

So, just don't believe everything you see, or everything you're supposed to believe.

Re: Seven Dangers of Coke and Pepsi (soft drinks) by 1star4ever(m): 12:51am On Feb 28, 2007
cool
Word. The Soda industry is a multi billion dollar business. The executives don't care about health issues. The more people drink,
the more they get raise. If you care, you educate the ones that don't know.

What if some one now starts a rumor that the more coke and pepsi you drink the more likely you will get cancer. I haven't seen any research to prove this wrong or right. If you continue to drink coke and pepsi plus the other acids out there, good luck.

Its really hard for me to say this but by d next morning, the acids from the drinks had melted all my droppings. Can u imagine?!All of my droppings! This circumconflominarggarating occurence caused my infant Dam(not human) to die of starvation. All because no droppings was left for her poor soul to devour. Can u imagine?not a single morsel of droppings! droppings!droppings!!droppings!!!droppings!!!!(pls do well to ignore the numerous '!'s)
So Bleep coke & pepsi!Bleep em!(or as d moderator would interprete; 'Mess em!')!!!!!!!!!!!!
