I have always wondered what are people's reasons for not receiving stuff with their left hands or insisting that others hand them things with their right hands.

Aren't both hands created by God or is it an unwritten Nigerian Law that the left hand is taboo? Why not just cut it off instead then be left with only the right hand. What are your thoughts on this?

You normally use your left hand to wipe ya azz and other "nasty" stuff is the origin of this taboo.
