Mine is somehw similar 2 urs wrote jamb in 2010 score 258 and 180 in pume ,then i try again i scored 301&279 respectively am nw a medical student .
So never give up

Dere are no specific textbooks i can recommend because of ǕR̶̲̥̅̊
Course of choice howeva just go through dos textbooks recommended by jamb and pay more attention to dos parts which are more dan jamb question. Also if u have d time move to Ife for tutorials. God bless

@all, i wouldn't know if OAU accepts 2nd choice and 2 sittings.
Will also like to know if physics and statistics is a good match if i'm to choose OAU for both 1st and 2nd choice respectively.

@mystolad oau DONT accept second choice(only by Gods intervention), as for me,i would advise you choose them as first choice and another school as second choice, as for the course, other ifeites would come to answer that cos am not in that area.

Please I want to know if these subjects combinations are ok for someone who intend to study POLITICAL SCIENCE in OAU,
English Economic Government and CRK,
Or is Mathematics compulsory in Jamb for POLITICAL SCIENCE?
Jamb brochure is not clear concerning this and I'm very very confuse,

Maths is compulsory bro. I do not think you need c.r.k.

My advice to d intending oau student,d first step is to pass jamb den go extra mile in reading for oau putme exam.cos their putme is not easy at al.i choose oau in 2010 and i scored 164 but in 2011 i scored 236 and was admited to study pharmacy dis session. I wish each and every1 of u a big succes as u ppare 4 d forthcoming exam.

@Amtired, maths is compulsory for your course. Just like sunnydeamol said, I dont think you need CRK(you can still make enquiries from Pol. Science student).
To all direct entry aspirants, I think oxygen has solutions to some of your questions. He's got better experience on this, I have just been admitted too.

I think you need the latter combination.

@Nekdor, Sociology n Anthropology are social sciences, so also Political Science, Please do you know if Mathematics is really compulsory in Jamb for a political science aspirant?
Jamb brochure has it that the subject combination should be English Government and two social science or art subjects.
Some people are saying Maths is compulsory in Jamb for the course and some that i called said no, I'm afraid of making mistake too, Please do you have an answer to this question?

Oau accept two sittings, but you will need yoruba and economics. History is not mandatory.
