Our Lady Peace (OLP) - Whatever

I stumbled on this album - WWF Forceable Entry - released by the WWE in 2002.
It's supposed to be a compilation of entrance themes of a number of WWE Hall-of-famers. Being in the past a huge fan of WWE myself (the Chris Benoit murder-suicide soured me off wrestling permanently), I decided to download and give it a listen.

Most of the themes I knew already anyway, from 20-odd years of watching the pseudo-sport. But they were still a good listen anyway. I also made some interesting discoveries; I never knew that Creed did the official event theme song for Backlash 2002. Also got round to exploring the discography of a Canadian grunge band known as Our Lady Peace. They did the song 'Whatever' which I posted earlier; made popular by the earlier-mentioned Chris Benoit.

All round, the album only serves to reinforce the depressing stereotype that professional wrestling is mostly followed by disoriented rednecks The song credits for this album is a who's who in punk rock. Creed, Kid Rock, Neurotica, Limp Bizkit, Marilyn Manson . . . they're all in.
