The Registrar, Joint
Admission and
Matriculation Board
(JAMB), Professor Dibu
Ojerinde, has stated
that the organisation
will soon introduce the
process of electronic
testing of prospective
candidates seeking
admission to the
nation’s universities and
other tertiary
institutions.
He explained that E-
testing is a process
whereby an individual
will seat by a computer
and write the
examination.
He said as soon as he or
she had finished the
examination, the
candidate would press a
button on the computer
and his or her result
would be released
instantly.
He added that the
candidate would be
issued a copy of his or
her result slip at the
entrance gate of the
examination centre. The
registrar said JAMB
would start the process
very soon.
Professor Ojerinde
stated this at the
commissioning of an
ultra-modern zonal
office of JAMB, in Minna,
Niger State capital, on
Thursday, during an
interactive session with
newsmen.
He stated that the new
zonal office would
further enhance the
confidentiality of
JAMB’s examinations,
