Eruditor: LeBron would always win the draft with KD. I still think Curry should have taken AD if LeBron took Kyrie after KD. You have good guards in the reserves even if you lost Harden. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:59am On Jan 27, 2018 |
Manutd19:You're tripping if you think Kyrie was LeBrons second pick. LeBron KD Steph Gianni's LeBron AD Steph Harden LeBron Boogie Steph Embiid (needing a big) LeBron Kyrie (or before boogie needing a small) Steph Demar The first four picks definitely went that way (I know, I was there). After harden could have gone in any order but that's just my best guess. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:46am On Jan 27, 2018 |
Boogie being replaced in the AllStar game?
|
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 10:48am On Jan 27, 2018 |
Y'all getting it wrong.. Which ever way, Bron would've won the trade.. Bron picked KD and Steph picked Giannis Bron picked Anthony Davis, Steph picked Harden to avoid giving Bron and MVP roster (KD, Bron and Harden) Bron picked Bougie and Curry had to pick a center so he went with Embiid. Bron picked Kyrie obviously and Curry was left with Derozan.. If you think Curry should've gone with Bougie (who is out BTW), then you must think (KD, Bron and Harden) is better then there's a problem. Easily Curry had 1st pick for reserve so he must've gone for his teammates and skipped Westbrook who is guard. Curry is a guard and doesn't need Westbrook. It's just another all star game. Yes, Bron's team looks good on paper but we've seen worse upsets abeg.. It's not that serious.. |

DevdanSanguine:Lol.. If i saw this earlier, I wouldn't have bothered typing the same story.. Anyway's Lebron showed he's a good GM but Curry had the foresight to avoid Bougie. The main issue here is that it should've been televised.. |

Roland17:Lool the Celtics were good but with IT always had a ceiling. It's obviously not IT'S fault but the league has completely changed since his namesake dominated the league despite being only slightly less vertically challenged. I guess as a Celtics GM sentiments aside you just can't throw $150-200m on IT. It also shows tremendous faith in your draft picks which is hard to find in this league. I been respond to why we lost to the Jaguars. That was when I was hit with the ban and their useless spambot delete my post. We were falsely overconfident and committed the cardinal sin of looking past the opponent in front of you. I don't even know if we would have beaten Brady anyway. Our defense is trash... Grazie! |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:06pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
The Boogie injury is very unfortunate. That was a fire game vs the Rockets. Alvin Gentry can't catch a break I'm really enjoying the petty wars going on in Cleveland. Kevin Love should demand a trade! He deserves better |

A40:Solidly concur |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:34pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
A40: The real IT was 6'1. Chris Paul is 6'0. What do you mean the league has changed? What do you mean only "slightly" less vertically challenged than IT who is 5'9? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:35pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
A40: Apparently Love and Jeff confirmed it was an inside joke. As to him demanding a trade, you'd like that wouldn't you? How about they trade the little ankle biter who is the source of all this instead? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 2:05pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
SmooshCHN: But your fellow fan is saying Curry's reserves are better? In which alternate universe? There's no way anybody would spin this thing that LeBron's first pick made Curry choose the crapper All Stars. The only thing 90% sure is that LeBron picked KD first. The other ones 80% sure wss that Curry was left with Derozan from starters and Horford from reserves. It'll look worse if the selections were leaked and Curry chose Horford and Derozan over some people. Every other player had a 50% chance for Curry to select. Yet he chose Lowry over WB, Draymond over LMA and Thompson over Beal/Oladipo. Every other player he got was mostly his decision not Bron's Team Curry should win it to prove us wrong cos any blowout will make us question his career path after retirement. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Manutd19: 2:42pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
SmooshCHN: Was so sure Curry wasn't going to choose Westbrook. He would make a trade if he had no choice 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 2:59pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
Lou Williams may be the most likely choice after Boogie's injury cos of of plenty front curt players already. If not him, Paul George. Both great shooters E be like say Curry know say na MDA be the coach na why the guy pack shooters. Meanwhile, strength to Boogie. The whole NBA family got you. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 4:03pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
Decale:On top ordinary all star selection. Would you have preffered Lebron ended up with KD, Bron, Harden, Embiid and Irving or Derozan? There's no way you'd spin this thing. KD would change the whole momentum for the starters.. You have to pick the starters before picking Horford.. As for the bench, it's pretty obvious both players picked on who they personally liked.. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 4:12pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
SmooshCHN: Na from this small thing dem dey know who get GM talent, you no know? Curry no even divide the best 2 big men to start with, hin go enter reserves dey do who came for my Thanksgiving dinner... |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:33pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
Manutd19: If Lebron lost AD he would have taken Giannis and the media will say the same thing. Atleast, you are being honest to admit that picking KD does not require anyone to be a good GM. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:38pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
SmooshCHN: Your order also makes sense but I heard Lebron say he wanted to reunite himself with Kyrie and KLove so I assumed he took Kyrie higher. And Steph would have taken either Giannis or AD first so since he has Giannis and Bron AD, we know who took who first. It is Klay and Draymond that are not good that are in the reserves. Same people they will call HOFers very soon. The same way Oladipo was a bum last season and now the PG that replaced him is not an Allstar yet Oladipo is. You can't make this joke up. LOL 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:41pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
Decale: Karl Anthony is not a good big? Giannis is not a Greek Freak? Ok. A good GM is the guy who picked first and selected the last finals MVP? It takes serious depth to do that I guess. Or Curry should have taken WestBrook to pretend that WestBrook makes people winners like he was winning when he had KD. Kwantinue |

Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 6:01pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
Eruditor: Only this small GM joke you don take am personal, even to bash Westbrook low-key. Someone no fit play with any Warriors player. Lol If you like talk all this thing, we Nlers and the whole NBA family bar Warriors fans know which reserves are better and ergo, the one that can build s team. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:50pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
Decale: I agree, Klay, Draymond, Curry on any team is not a good one. They did not win 73 games together. Please, based on the order of picks, draft a better team than Curry. Let us critique it. So Lebron takes KD first and you, Decale, takes AD, then Lebron takes Giannis and you take Boogie, then Lebron takes Kyrie and you take Harden. So your team is now better than his own? AD and Boogie are leading the league in wins abi? Kwantinue |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 7:19pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
Eruditor:Nah!! Curry is a Point Guard and he's basically the same as Kyrie and wouldn't have been interested picking Kyrie in anyway. I'm sure Kyrie and Derozan were the last pick and wouldn't have changed anything if they swapped teams.. This shows how KD is really valuable.. We'd be saying something different if captains were KD and Bron or Curry and Kyrie. They both would've split AD and Boogie and also Giannis and Embiid.. To me, Bron's bench looks good on paper just like the current Cavs team before the season started. All big names missing key components. Both team benches are not a game changer IMO. Decale: Oya, we get same starters. I'm LeBron, You're Steph I pick KD, you'll pick who? AD I guess. I pick Boogie, you pick who? Giannis I pick Harden, you pick Embiid I pick Kyrie, you pick Derozan.. Abeg, did you as Stephen Curry win this draft? You even got both AD and Cousins does it even look like you won the draft?? Feel free to draft as Curry but remember i picked KD already. To the real draft now, As for the reserves, Bron is deeper on paper (And by the big names) but take a look at Curry bench and Lebron's also. Who's team is really deep offensively and most especially the defensive end? (please don't say we don't play defense in all star) ehen we're just comparing. It's Curry if we no go lie.. So, in total, Bron looks good on paper but it's not like we'll see him blowout Curry if both teams really goes hard in a playoff series.. 1 Like |

Kyrie handles the ball like Mozart on the keyboard. His handles glide seamlessly and with every bounce, he creates a rhythm of perfection that gladdens the heart of the hardwood. |

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:36am On Jan 28, 2018 |
Decale: He's in love with Curry. I'm not even joking. He will defend everything he does with the last drop of his blood If only all bandwagoners were this loyal. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:39am On Jan 28, 2018 |
Men, Klay should be hitting that. Some physical play from one team is being allowed. Nick Young has had an atrocious game thus far. I expect him and Klay to get much better in the third. |

Watching these guys whine over some obvious foul calls is irritating especially when you see the replays. What exactly is Iggy complaining about there? |
