They lead from their bunkers and scientifically produced armoured protection just as the pope does. Why? Isn't prayer enough? Doesn't God talk to them and tell them the exact location of the bombs before they explode? Or doesn't God have enough angels to protect them from the bomb explosion? The whole building swayed back and forth and there was tremendous ground movement with the associated noise. This guy with all his bravado talk and yapping at God crawled under the table like a worm , with a fear on his face that I will only ever see again in a horror movie.

What I am trying to say is that many atheists I have met are loud mouths, but beneath the veneer of their bravadosim is a fear of the unknown. A nagging thought that they just might be wrong.

I will provide you with 2 spiritually discerned bible verses, hoping that God may open your eyes to understand.

Anyway here goes :

1. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.- Matthew 10:28

In other words, Christians are subject to the same dangers as all men,  but have this thing going for them, eternal salvation of their souls should death come.  Let us revisit an incident in the new testament where beloved brother Stephen was stoned to death by atheists and murderous men. Consider his reaction carefully.

Acts 7:
"Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him.But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and rushed together at him.Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him. Here was young Stephen full of the Holy Spirit , bold in the face of death , assured of his eternal salvation.

Compare this to the other sort of men, who worry about dying 24*7 , for us Christians , death is transitory, it is no big deal. But for the lost, it is a critical moment in their existence, a bridge between their current state and eternal damnation.


2. Revelation 11:7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.
    Revelation 13:7 He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation
    Daniel 7:21 As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them


Here we see that it is God who allowed the devil to gain Power over the saints, just like Christ did not resist his killers but is now seated at the right hand of God , till the cup of sinners is FULL.

God is exercising patience with the world while they hate, kill and ridicule his children. You will do well to peruse this scripture which I will split into 2 parts.
