In whatever choice we make, let us refrain from self centeredness. We must not be counted among those who are in it just for themselves. However, let us build things that will last beyond us, things that can be enjoyed by others as well. Only then shall we be counted among those whose name shall never forgotten in this world and in the book of life.

1 Peter 1:23-25
“Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,[a] because “ All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man[b] as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, But the word of the LORD endures forever.”

PRAYER
Lord, give us the humility and willingness to live out our life for the sake of others rather than for personal grain or reputation. You have called us to leave a legacy by building your unbroken truth into the next generation. We want to invest all you have graciously given us in the lives of others so that we will live well and wisely, and not foolishly and selfishly. Let us live each day in light of that day and relish the opportunities You have given us today, investing our time and resources well in an incorruptible seed (and not that which is corrupt) in Jesus mighty name. Amen
